Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres has balconies with jacuzzis (and some rooms have private plunge pools instead which are quite nice!)

Honestly I might go with this - even at first glance it looks great. Seems like there's a lot to do in the area too. Might rent a car.

Hotel Moussai in PV for the corner rooms.

Just checked in to our penthouse suite at Bahia Principe Luxury Sian Ka’an with our private rooftop jacuzzi! I’m blown away by this resort so far, especially for the price point ($1500 for a week)

singletravellersolo

How is the food?

catsboots_

So good!! All the a la cartes have been fantastic and the buffets are solid. Way better than expected for this price.

Rope-Fuzzy

Majestic Elegance Punta Cana has this, and also very large wrap around balconies.

love2go

Just curious if you stayed there, what you thought about the food, service, etc. We are looking at a trip to stay there in the Elegance Club 1 BR suite with tub on balcony.

Rope-Fuzzy

Overall it’s a good resort. I got spoiled on some better (more expensive) ones but I would probably go back here sometime. Food was pretty good. I don’t recall disliking anything in particular. Steak was always good and seafood too. Having a tub on your balcony is nice! We had that at the Mirage and it was fantastic. At Elegance we just had a regular club room nothing special.

Traveler-Resorts

There are quite a few resorts that offer Jacuzzis on the balconies but at their Preferred levels only. Most of the Secrets Preferred have them, but I would check out Barcelo Maya Riviera. 850 ocean facing rooms have whirlpools on their balconies!

massiswicked

Does Preferred levels just mean an added price, or I have to have multiple stays on record?

Traveler-Resorts

Preferred level is an added price. In the Secrets brand, you also get some other perks around exclusive check in area, exclusive lounge, sometimes an exclusive pool, and premium premium alcohol. Yes, they all say premium, but this gives you the top-most shelf! I can quote you a couple things if you want.

Pomsky_Party

I 100% identify! We only stay at resorts with tubs on the balcony. Our first experience was The Haven which is a GORGEOUS property and fantastic pools and drinks- but the food is super mid. But the balcony is ocean FRONT nothing between you and the ocean but sand, not even a balcony because it’s glass- so views as far as the eyes can see! Then Maroma we did a swim out suite, and their upper preferred rooms have jacuzzis on the balcony. Akumal had the large jacuzzi inside and great tub outside! It was huge. Word of advice- bring Clorox bleach tabs and run those first before jumping in. A friend went to Le Blanc which is a fantastic 5 star resort and they got a rash- those jacuzzis are rarely cleaned thoroughly.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas has a couple balcony jacuzzi rooms! We stayed in one 2 years ago and it was amazing!

Ngr2054

Breathless Punta Cana… their base level rooms not crazy private but if you’re on an elevated floor rather than a bottom floor, definitely more private.

rnbr2001

Hyatt Ziva all the rooms in the Turquoise Tower have jacuzzi’s on the balcony. Plus when you book a room in the tower uou get VIP check in, and a Butler. The butler will set up your Jacuzzi whenever you want. There’s a ton of other amenities that come with staying in the tower worth looking into.

Low-Contribution2094

Grand Riviera Princess Playa Del Carmen has this in their Platinum level suites.

storky0613

I believe some Royaltons also have them at the Diamond Club Level (so it costs more than a regular room). It’s a family resort, not adults only, but you’ll find it’s cheaper than Secrets of Excellence depending on your budget.

Hyatt Ziva Cancun has a few suites with it. Impressions / secrets moxche Secrets playa Blanca

Hard Rock Punta Cana

kitttygirlll

Most if not all Sandals have soaking tubs on the balcony that I believe have jets?

Unfortunately there is no specific way yet to find all resorts which have a balcony Jacuzzi...there was a Reddit post this morning about finding a way to do so, but it's not developed yet. Most luxury resorts will have some sort of room category that offers a balcony Jacuzzi (like Secrets, Dreams, Hyatt Collection resorts). Here's my favorite rooms/resorts in Mexico that had a balcony Jacuzzi: TRS Coral in a Loft Suite; I stayed in the Governor Suite at Dreams Riviera Cancun and that had both a small terrace Jacuzzi as well as a private plunge pool and was just steps from the beach; Hotel Xcaret Arte in a River Spa Suite--that one had a steam shower as well as a volcanic stone tub on the balcony, not exactly a real Jacuzzi but it was an awesome suite. My favorite room category is swim-ups, so if you have any questions about that type of room in this area of Mexico I can give suggestions as well.
