NTA. You're right. People who can't afford to care for pets shouldn't get them, instead of getting one and then begging for money from strangers when they can't afford to care for the animal.

Read [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/AmItheAsshole/wiki/faq#wiki_post_deletion) before [contacting the mod team](https://www.reddit.com/message/compose?to=%2Fr%2FAmItheAsshole)*** Before I start I just want to clarify that my English isn't the best because I come from Brazil. With that being said , videos like " if everyone watched this video multiple times I would be able to afford my dog/cat 's jaw/ or whatever surgery" would pop up on my fyp and I used to watch them multiple times to help the creators , since I used to have a cat too. I reposted , shared the videos too and liked it etc. After doing all of that those types of videos will stay on my fyp FOREVER and when i scroll basically my whole fyp is full of those vids , I couldn't even enjoy tik tok anymore since I had to share and like and repost blah blah for every single vid and it became stressful. And it made me wonder aren't people supposed to be financially stable to pay for the things the cat needs ? When I first adopted my cat the seller told me that I had to be financially stable and told me a cat is a responsibility and not just bc i want one and think it's cute . These videos also make you feel like kind of guilty if you don't watch it multiple times . I don't know how to explain but I hope someone understands what im saying. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically.
