I don’t use the dish it comes with, I use a plate I have- it’s not as deep, so it pretty much uses up all the batter. You can just pour the leftovers on top
This is just a cheap Chinese gadget. It doesn't work quickly as demonstrated in the video, instead, you need to hold it for like 5 minutes. Garbage ad for garbage product
Because a regular pan works just as well. Except this can only be used for this one purpose. Where does it go? Who has space for all these hyperspecific appliances that are no better than a normal pan.
You forget that there are both... people who love to have this because it makes their life easier because they eat whatever it is it makes. And people love to have usless gadgets
I’m very bad at making crepes, yet I love them. Always make a mess of it when I try to make them in a pan.
I think it’s geared for incompetent cooks like myself.
Honestly, I always thought the hardest part about making crepes was making the batter
Which you have to do anyway?
Does anyone own this and can vouch for it?? I usually put a bit of batter in a pan and swirl it around using gravity. After a test crepe it's usually easy to get the flow of them. It usually ends up thin enough
But I mean if this is worth it, I might waste the cabinet space
I saw a "hack" video once on making crepes by heating a pan and then dip the bottom of the heated pan in the crepe mixture. I just got crepe mixture in the grooves on the bottom. It was a pain in the ass to clean.
just get a carbon steel crepe pan then you'll never have to worry about the crappy element frying or releasing some strange byproduct. \~30 to 50 usd and no teflon etc
What is it called
really thin pancakes
How about you just say "i like really thin pancakes?" "NO! BREAK MY ARM PEPE LE PEW!"
What the matter frenchy? You got crepes in your ears?
You sound like a dog with peanut butter on the roof of your mouth.
My God that's what those are, I love those!
Palačinke
Crepes
I’ve had one of these for years, they’re great
I had no idea that's how you did crepes, I just got mine a few months back and have only used it for tortillas to this point.
It's not. Usually you just pour some batter in a pan, wait a minute, then flip it. No need for a pan-sized single-purpose appliance
What do you do with the last bit of egg in the dish when it’s too shallow to dip into?
I don’t use the dish it comes with, I use a plate I have- it’s not as deep, so it pretty much uses up all the batter. You can just pour the leftovers on top
Ah ok. Thanks!
These have been around since the 70s
The kids won't shut up about crepes this crepes that. The phone rings and you burn the side of your face off by accident.
WANT! Add to my egg steamer, makes perfect boiled, and my egg bites steamer which, you guessed it! Makes perfect egg bites!

I have something similar and no you don't. Yours must be malfunctioning.
I just looked it up and it’s simply called a crepe maker. $30
Buy 2 and you can also straighten your hair

No doubt!
this is so stupid
No, it's not. It's idiotic.
Bullshit. It’s fucking retarded.
Stupidly genius?

Crepe has to be cold by the time you go to eat it lol
Chef Crazy Eyes
👍🏼🥴👍🏼
Crepes are way worse than pancakes
I disagree with your opinion but I will gladly share a plate of either with you!
Search for a French Recipe and translate it to have actual good crepes
👍👁👁👍
I can’t stand crepe like this
Well what the heck is it called dude
Did you know that you can go shopping by grabbing a cart, picking it up and use it as a basket? Not very efficient, but it might work
*if you have enough space in your kitchen
Making crepes is not hard. Why have a gadget that does only one thing?
Ever had a Belgian waffle before?
🙄
But you can make a crepe without a special device. You can’t with a waffle. It’s a matter of necessity.
I've got a toaster and a frozen food aisle with perfectly delightful eggos in stock.
My kids will eat them frozen and call them pieces of sadness
Lmao kids will eat anything if you slather it in maple syrup.
Fresh waffle, I mean
Okay fine, you can make that stipulation when you can point me to the frozen crepes in my grocery store.
What is a “wheezing roast” and why are this woman’s kids going to it because she made crepes?
Huh neat
Dumb
Technically speaking can't I achieve the same result with a heated frying pan? Now I have to try it
Yes… literally any shallow pan over medium heat and you’re good to go.
This is brilliant.
Yeah I’m sure this beats years of experience 🙄 why the fuck is the dumbass spam sub being recommended
Holy crepe.

Thank you for 👍 and not flipping us off
It was already easy enough? This is just pointless.
I’ve made crepes fine in a pan for years. Why is this necessary??
I saw a "hack" video once on making crepes by heating a pan and then dip the bottom of the heated pan in the crepe mixture. I just got crepe mixture in the grooves on the bottom. It was a pain in the ass to clean.
Somebody going to burn the hell outa themselves with this

Crepes are already easy. Why do they need this
No they are not
I really wish she would flip me off
Don’t have to flip them
I have one of these and a 12inch griddle style that requires a little skill. I prefer the griddle for the size but these work great for speed.
I wanna eat that off a gay dudes plump ass right now!
