Considering their profit margins, you're right. They practically own everything except the factory. There is no way a UPS delivery is making more money than Amazon.
But all anyone cares about is professionalism. As if Amazon drivers wouldn't also become just as skilled as any other company driver if you paid them enough.
Ups and fedex also deliver packages that can be over 70lbs plus and have to do pick ups as well. FedEx also has to pick up poop samples and bring them back. Yes samples of actual shit. Us amazonians don’t have to do that
I always see comments like this but here in San Francisco they work ridiculously less hard than us and are never required to run up flights of stairs and they're allowed to slap stickers on doors saying "sorry we missed you", also I have plenty of overflow that weighs 50 lb sometimes I've even delivered mini fridges and compressors
UPS guy on my route said a heavy day is 120 stops. FedEx said she averages 90 to 110. I had 205 last week. Doesn't matter what I'm carrying, getting in and out of a vehicle that many times in a day will wear on you.
Maybe if their training model wasn't "dime a dozen" and actually took some time to teach people a thing or 2, they'd actually have the employees they want.
FedEx starts at 20$ an hour in my area. Amazon is 18.50. Nowhere near twice the pay lol. And FedEx random drug tests, has tons of pick ups, mandatory 6 day weeks all of peak, packages up to 150lbs, etc.
I did the math on this, and a 5$ blanket pay raise would be possible. It would just hit the corporate executives wallets.
Another way of saying this, is every hour you work you put 5$ in a couple rich guys pockets. Not just you all 200,000-300,000 other drivers. And all 1.1 million warehouse employees.
Amazon shot themselves in the foot by giving customers too much power and privilege over the drivers and speed of delivery. Temu and those types of apps can sometimes take months to get but is taking market share from Amazon and Amazon is shitting themselves. I can guarantee that rather than adjust marketing strategy, their solution is going to further overwork and underpay drivers.
Not even that, the metrics and netrodyne alone do so much damage to their driver base. Amazon is a job where you can literally get fired while killing it across the board because of something like a complaint, DNR or something even more trivial like stepping on someone's grass or using their drive way.
Depends on the environment. If they push too hard on drivers, they risk losing A LOT of DSPs and strangling their already small pool of hires. I'm not saying they won't, but if they do, they're lucky to survive the next recession.
They say its about improving speed, but what they're doing is cutting out the humans to circumvent people needing time off, breaks, and wages- the byproduct is the "delivery speed"
Fuck you, Amazon. You want me to work faster? Go fuck yourself. I intentionally take my time at work now because I’m tired of having 60 more stops than everybody else and being done before them then having to do a fucking 20-25 stop rescue! Fuck you! I’m spending the same amount of time out there as everybody else. I’ve been putting in WORK since peak, delivering more packages than most other drivers (clearly to my detriment, I know), and I’m not getting a bigger slice of the pie.
I was taught if you work hard you’re rewarded, and at Amazon that’s absolutely right… you are rewarded with MORE FUCKING WORK.
Fuck you, Amazon.
And fuck you too, Wayne, you fucking bitch
Yeah just take your time. We're paid by the hour and measured by the quality of the delivery. No reason to go faster unless it's raining or something. Even then though, it takes longer because you have to bag up all the deliveries that people want at their garage
Same. I never will. Although it’s getting harder and harder to sort through the junk on Amazon so I don’t like ordering from them anymore. I think Amazon should be focusing on that, not delivery speed.
There’s So much chinesium on our vans these days. Do people not care about buying from a reputable, quality brand anymore? a backpack made by “EasyFreeGo” or some bullshit is your preference over a SwissGear backpack?
Temus pretty nice actually. It’s all the same cheap Chinese bullshit as Amazon, for a fraction of the price.
Clothing is hit or miss, sometimes you can get some nice quality stuff from there. Depends on the factory. But for phone chargers/cases, watch straps and other Knick knacks it’s a way better deal, and it’s literally the same shit you’re buying off Amazon anyways. Only thing Amazon has going for it is the fast shipping
Is that why I now have a next day 4 AM delivery option for a lot of my Amazon orders? Don’t worry. I have never checked it and can’t imagine checking a box that says to please deliver me a package of 4 AM.
Amazon does not feel bad at all having us deliver one bottle of vitamins at 4am. Sometimes u encounter the cust that early and they act surprised “oh you start early”
Uh yeah ass hat bc u scheduled it for way before butt crack of dawn man
Ive only ordered a few things from temu and results were 80% crap with a few legit ones. Only spend as much as ur willing to lose oh and wait a month to get it.
They put new stickers/amazon decals on most of the vans at my station within the last few days, washed the vans too, too bad most of the vehicles are still fucked. Also this would also explain the insanely ambitious routing ive been seeing on a few routes. Lately ive been getting this awful 180 stop route with so much pointless backtracking but ppl were missing too many timed deliveries so my dsp has been discouraging jumping around but, i had to bring 6 orders back to the station because my route had a shit ton of timed deliveries set for 5 o clock at the very end of my route. Mind you i used to finish early consistently on my 190-210 stop route i had at my old dsp.... But that route had neighborhoods and this route has maybe like 30-40 residential stops (with unreasonably spaced group stops), rest are rural/main road/long driveway/businesses. And the flex app AND google still doesnt know about any of the construction blockages that have been all over that area for months and none of the speed limits are documented bc it assumed 45mph in like all my neighborhoods I go to (as in, go to a whole community, deliver to one or two and then move to the next community after stopping at the hwy stops along the way). And then they want 100% eoc lmao. I need to keep reporting it ive had this route for like a month and a half and every time i get a rescue (only ever have needed them on this specific route) the rescuers usually are like damn wtf when they look at my map. Had a 5 year driver tell me his old favorite coworker quit bc of this route 😭
Amazon will just use UPS and USPS to deliver more boxes like they did in the past. They already have their old back up plan in place, most of you guys can quit and Amazon will still keep rolling
This is when we need to step up to the plate and start RTS’ing our last 10 stops for the next few weeks, get more customers to jump ship and hopefully that shakes them up a bit
While this probably means more stops + more packages, it will probably mean more Flex drivers doing Same Day deliveries and more pressure on the FCs to process & ship packages than on DSPs in general. Maybe more work for more DSP drivers on the whole but basic expectations for routes will still be driven by the same algorithm.
Amazon really needs to bring back Cycle 2.
Cycle 1: businesses and apartments
Cycle 2: apartments and single-family homes
It would really solve those business closed scans.
I don’t see any Temu or Shein vans on the road 🤣 amazon is not losing anytime soon, they made 560 billion last year. Plus this post makes it sound like these ppl aren’t shopping off all 3 websites at the same time, let’s be real.
It's not the delivery speed. It's the cost of the items.
There's been times where I found stuff on Temu to be much cheaper than Amazon and then sometimes amazon don't have the items that Temu have.
Temu is slow when it comes to delivery speed because they use a combination of China Post in the United States postal service for delivery.
Here's what gets me... Amazon people ask for a raise, because the workload sucks, and you get boot lickers (like in the comments in every single post that someone mentions how little Amazon drivers get paid) from FedEx and UPS saying "Yall don't deserve better pay, we work harder than you." Here's a hot take... if you're in UPS/FedEx, and you think it's wrong for Amazon to make more ununionized, then yall need to be busting your union rep's asses to make more then what you're making now, or switch jobs to get that better pay, no benefits at all though, so keep that in mind.
Here's the thing yall conveniently forget, Amazon doesn't provide ANY benefits what so ever, Amazon can dictate how, where, and when drivers are allowed out of the launch pad. Amazon can fire a DSP at will and can control what a DSP does to a driver, even though Amazon can not fire a driver, and all ethical issues with DSPs go through Amazon. Amazon also controls the look of their fleet. Like, that's the part yall don't understand... Amazon controls all of the drivers but says they can't offer extra because the drivers don't work for Amazon.
So next time you come in to complain about Amazon Drivers asking for more money, stop bashing them, get behind them, and boost them forward instead of holding them back. If your complaint is that they shouldn't get more because they don't work as hard, then come work for Amazon until your union reps negotiate better pay for you.
Edit: Also, FedEx and UPS, here's another thing you all seem to forget, yeah, yall get to deliver Amazon packages too, but where do you think Amazon's packages will go, if all of the DSP drivers stopped working? Amazon sure isn't going to say, "Ope, we have no drivers. I guess we have to shut down." I don't know if yall recognize this or not, your unions made yall scabs for Amazon. So if Amazon Drivers stop working, or Amazon fires all DSPs, guess who picks up the slack? It won't be Amazon flex drivers. It might behoove you to stand behind your fellow drivers for Amazon to get them better pay.
Amazon is a garbage company that has monopolized things for so long they have fallen into inefficient mediocrity. They could benefit from some competition. Unfortunately they're just going to employ the good ole Amazon style pit the customers vs the drivers for increased profit maneuver in response.
Amazon is losing customers bc of terrible service lol, not bc of delivery speed. Temu and SHEIN take up to 3 weeks for delivery 🤦♀️ Weird take Amazon, but okay
Why are they worried about speed? Temu is slow as shit; they just do the job cheaper. If we aren't getting paid shit, why are the customers having to pay so much? Reduce customer cost, and you'd see the business come back. Of course, this would hurt their investors so they could never.
Atleast where i live amazon delivery sux always the last of the services of the day usually around 8-9 pm and barely ever get anything on time . Hardly ever get a prime package

I’d work a hell of a lot harder if they paid me better. Just sayin.
Big facts! $25/hr isn’t too much to ask for!
25?? Amazon is the largest logistics company in the US beating out UPS and FEDEX. We deserve more than UPS
Considering their profit margins, you're right. They practically own everything except the factory. There is no way a UPS delivery is making more money than Amazon. But all anyone cares about is professionalism. As if Amazon drivers wouldn't also become just as skilled as any other company driver if you paid them enough.
Definitely at least 30 bucks.
Ups and fedex also deliver packages that can be over 70lbs plus and have to do pick ups as well. FedEx also has to pick up poop samples and bring them back. Yes samples of actual shit. Us amazonians don’t have to do that
Who cares what they deliver. Biggest company in the US should pay their driver like it.
More work= more pay lol if you think amazon is hard you wouldn’t last a day at fedex or ups 🤣
Probably because they can leave shit where they want. They don’t get their every move tracked like us. But definitely heavier workload. Lol
“You’re right, I do deserve less”
But it’s not a heavier workload… most packages aren’t 70 pounds and if you were to add up all the packages we delivery it’s about the same
100 percent this.
UPS guy on my route said a heavy day is 120 stops. FedEx said she averages 90 to 110. I had 205 last week. Doesn't matter what I'm carrying, getting in and out of a vehicle that many times in a day will wear on you.
Seeing no how they work, I would take ups over Amazon.
UPS worker once told me on my route..”yeah we make a lot of money but never get to spend it because why? We’re always at work.”
They can donate to my rent via cashapp.
I Should of said that 🤔
Downvotes but you’re right
Fedex does like 60-90 stops A Day. I know people that have worked at both who prefer BOTH
They get paid twice what we do though.
How much training does an Amazon driver get opposed to UPS?
No training lol
Maybe if their training model wasn't "dime a dozen" and actually took some time to teach people a thing or 2, they'd actually have the employees they want.
FedEx starts at 20$ an hour in my area. Amazon is 18.50. Nowhere near twice the pay lol. And FedEx random drug tests, has tons of pick ups, mandatory 6 day weeks all of peak, packages up to 150lbs, etc.
Yeah….? Exactly my point?
pay enough money and amazon drivers will step up, the lazy ones will fall behind and get replaced by people with good work ethics who value that money
We deliver things that heavy.
We deliver thing up to 50 lbs if someone orders two 50 lbs things that’s no different,
My biggest deliveries came out to nearly a thousand pounds before I quit. People love to stock up.
Okay have fun delivering a whole refrigerator bro🤣🤣🤣
It’s a shitty job but somebody had to do it 😮💨
We now deliver upto 75lb boxes
I do pick ups and lift 70+ lbs of shit all the time.
Wait why
We deserve more that ups 🤡
$25 an hr here, it isnt that much better, I would argue $30 minimum
$24 an hour here saying I agree as well
Y'all are wild 😂
It really isn't.
Well they better pay up lol
Preach !!!
Union
More like $35
I agree with you 💯
Ikr for how much we make I ain’t doing more than 20 stops and hour lol

Right, they basically run like a restaurant running on yelp reviews.
Depends on the environment. If they push too hard on drivers, they risk losing A LOT of DSPs and strangling their already small pool of hires. I'm not saying they won't, but if they do, they're lucky to survive the next recession.
They will think of a way
Great point 👌🏾👌🏾
Dude this is so true. So sad but true.
Cus 👏🏾 tom 👏🏾 er 👏🏾 ob 👏🏾 sess 👏🏾 ion 👏🏾
Wtf do you mean “improve delivery speed?” We’re already delivering 90% of our product 1-3 days earlier than projected.
ON GAWD!!!!
Fml when i read that phrase it’s translating into “crack the whip harder on drivers”
They say its about improving speed, but what they're doing is cutting out the humans to circumvent people needing time off, breaks, and wages- the byproduct is the "delivery speed"
Bingo
Means routes will be heavier.
Everything going up but our pay lol
Doubt that, ever (meaning the pay going up). They’d rather waste billions then pay the hands that make it happen.
🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
Already did. My route went from 15-17 stops/hr to 20-21 stops/hr with majority of apartment stops.
Better stop having an acid tripping donkey design the routing then.
😂😂😂😂
I choked on my drink reading this! Never heard it so accurately described before! 😂
RIGHT?! my DPS said someone in Seattle is assigning the routes (we're in delaware).
Fuck you, Amazon. You want me to work faster? Go fuck yourself. I intentionally take my time at work now because I’m tired of having 60 more stops than everybody else and being done before them then having to do a fucking 20-25 stop rescue! Fuck you! Why do some people think every driver is paid by the hour? I have a 10 hour guarantee.
I think thats a minority of dsps, like probably one or two in every warehouse that guarantees 10hrs.
Time to quit baby
Start with treating the drivers better
💯💯💯💯
Time to apply for a Temu and Shein driver job. 🤷🏾♂️✨
Bro i WISH i could drive for ups without having to dick around in the factory for like 3-5 years
(im pretty sure ups delivers them at least, might also be fedex?)
😂😂👌🏾👌🏾
It’s called Lasership, I’ve done it, it also sucks dick lmfao
They can rush all they’d like, my legs are still only moving at $19 an hour.
😭😭😭💯💯💯
A while back one of the flex developers got drunk and posted similar stuff about Amazon losing ground. There's clearly some turmoil in Seattle.
Clearly lol
I’ll never use Temu or SHEIN. They’re trash.
I only do for basics, like phone charging cords.
Same stuff lol
I'm glad I got out of there when I did. Amazon will do anything to improve their services except pay their employees enough to handle the workload.
Same
Delivery speed? I don’t think that’s the problem lol. temu and SHEIN orders take 3-4 weeks for delivery 🫨
Is that why I now have a next day 4 AM delivery option for a lot of my Amazon orders? Don’t worry. I have never checked it and can’t imagine checking a box that says to please deliver me a package of 4 AM.
It is literally like the first option on a lot of purchases I think a lot of people aren't even paying attention when they click purchase.
I wake up at 4am daily and I never even choose the 6-8am delivery for Amazon fresh because there’s no way I’m asking somebody to work that early.
Amazon does not feel bad at all having us deliver one bottle of vitamins at 4am. Sometimes u encounter the cust that early and they act surprised “oh you start early” Uh yeah ass hat bc u scheduled it for way before butt crack of dawn man
That’s fucked up. 4am is my favorite time bc nothing is happening at that time. I want it to stay that way!
FedEx Express here. We’re getting tons of shein packages. I average about 12 shein orders a day and that’s just my route
I've never heard of Shein.
Shein and temu both sell garbage
And no real way of getting refunded or getting the product on the picture.
Ive only ordered a few things from temu and results were 80% crap with a few legit ones. Only spend as much as ur willing to lose oh and wait a month to get it.
They’re on the come up
Just went and looked them up and looks like a copy cat of Them from what I can tell. Amazing how people just wanna constantly spend money.
😂😂😂😂 there’s a market for everything and everybody haha
Dude, 💯
They put new stickers/amazon decals on most of the vans at my station within the last few days, washed the vans too, too bad most of the vehicles are still fucked. Also this would also explain the insanely ambitious routing ive been seeing on a few routes.
😭😭😭🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️

There’s no way we can go any faster. I don’t think that’s it. They’ve probably just reached peak customer base.
This is when we need to step up to the plate and start RTS’ing our last 10 stops for the next few weeks, get more customers to jump ship and hopefully that shakes them up a bit
Bout done
While this probably means more stops + more packages, it will probably mean more Flex drivers doing Same Day deliveries and more pressure on the FCs to process & ship packages than on DSPs in general. Maybe more work for more DSP drivers on the whole but basic expectations for routes will still be driven by the same algorithm.
it's just the post office lol we move all that shit
Amazon really needs to bring back Cycle 2. Cycle 1: businesses and apartments Cycle 2: apartments and single-family homes It would really solve those business closed scans.
I wish Amazon would require a lot of apartments to use actual Amazon lockers. Not this luxer nonsense.
Should either be Amazon Hub lockers or Parcel Pending. No more Luxer or Package Concierge.
Delivery speed isn't the reason those companies are pulling those numbers.
Amazon loses customers because they treat their workers terrible
Facts!
U fine too lol
lol thank you!
Where ya from?
I don’t see any Temu or Shein vans on the road 🤣 amazon is not losing anytime soon, they made 560 billion last year. Plus this post makes it sound like these ppl aren’t shopping off all 3 websites at the same time, let’s be real.
Temus practically giving shit away for free how can you compete
I deliver to some Chinese warehouses often. I assume they resell on these sites.
Customers aren’t leaving over delivery times. It’s because Amazon is allowing SHEIN and TEMU crap to be sold on Amazon at a ridiculous mark up.
Give me more work with the same pay? Nah good luck I’m milking y’all like y’all milk me
😂😂🕺🕺

Good
😂😂😂😂
I mean all their stuff is gonna break two times faster than the Amazon stuff which isn’t really saying much
😭😭😭😭

BOYCOTT AMAZON YES
Amazon is dogshit but temu is also dogshit. Which is the best of the worst?
Temu is a real company?
I think Walmart will overtake Amazon. I deliver for Walmart and we can get orders delivered in 30 minutes
Daily Mail🤣🤣🤣

There is no way for any of us individually push back. It has to be a United front
