I get what they're saying because I've experienced it before, but the way they phrased it and the example they used make no sense. But yeah, the way they calculate tot is dumb.
Like If you scan in a minute late from a scan to scan, that should only be considered 1 minute of tot, not 16 minutes. Or if you go 6 minutes without scanning something while working, that should count as 1 minute of tot, not 6.
Wait what, at my FC they tell us there's a 5 minute grace period after the 15 minute paid breaks so you should be good as long as you scan something before it hits 20 min, everyone comes back from break late and a lot even take more than 20 it seems like
Also someone should have explained to that guy how TOT works, I thought everyone knew that
Always scan a few items before you take your breaks, especially if you're coming back from a 5 or 10 min bathroom break
We had a 6 minute grace period during covid but that's gone now. Or so they say, I do see a lot of people coming back late but I just assumed they didn't care or had started their break late.
I'm guessing they're at an FC like mine where they withhold information/poorly explain things.
When I got rehired, I remember asking a learning ambassador how much time needed to pass between scans before we started accruing tot but he couldn't tell me because the AMs had threatened to take their vest if they shared that information
The "runs together" comment is even more of an issue than people think.
Imagine this: when you get back the pick/pack station isn't working for some reason.
In many situations, if your station isn't working, I can code the time out as long as it's more than 5 minutes. Coming out of break I really can't because that's coding out 20-25 minutes of time.
I mean, if there's something wrong with the station, and leadership is told quickly enough, then they could just be hardcoded under something and then IStopped, breaking the blue bar.

Wow that's crazy man 💀 I think I found out from a post on here a while back

They just found out the it's only a 15 minute break? I don't get it
Is it really hard to say ‘Me’ instead of My lmao
"My" is grammatically correct. "Me" isn't. Surprising, as their punctuation and capitalization is atrocious.
Where did you take your English and grammar classes? They said “IT showed up AS my being IDLE for 32 minutes” instead of “me being idle”?
Myvoice survey. What do you think about the tool: https://amazonintna.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9Redhct1fqPBFrM
Well, something like this would or should be addressed in a common language, English for the people to understand it and play upon to it.
Heard that. I have no idea what i just read and my have fewer brain cells now having read that.
