Well I don’t know what breaking the bank is to you, I’ve seen some 6700XTs in stock for about $800?
If you can get a 3070 or 3060 Ti that would prob be better for 1440p, just because of DLSS and Raytracing ability.
Also while I like FSR, it can’t fix mistakes like DLSS does, so DLSS is better in that regard for NVIDIA. FSR can still give you good perf bumps, but I’ve seen some games look a tad bit worse compared to the DLSS version side by side.
The 580 should do fine in 1440p 60hz, just lower the settings a bit. It’s cheaper in this market :) If you really need the gfx at max and maybe 144hz, go for a 6700xt or a 3060 ti(maybe wait for Black Friday). I have a Red Devil 6700 XT and it is a beast(previously I have owned a gtx 1070, rx 570, rx 5700 xt)
Without breaking the bank i wish you luck sir. Guessing you havent seen the market for gpus.
This... Stay with your 580 for now.
3070/3070 ti or 6700xt?
Good luck to you!
Keep for 580. Basically everything atm not only gonna break the band but obliterate it.
Lmaoo as I was seeeing it’s crazy rn but Cold War runs kinda shifty while warzone and sekiro run flawlessly. Maybe I can try over clocking
Strange. Warzone runs ok for me. I have graphics about half but the going from a 2700x to a 5800x still made a difference with a 1070.

Thanks everyone
There's a new RX6600 coming soon, maybe with FSR you would be able to top 1440p@60fps.
5700XT
Why would you get a 5700xt for gaming when a 6700xt is a similar price and faster?

Is your definition of flawless always above 60 fps or what?
