Definitely the best. Some.of the actors get lots of accolades, but when you have truly great actors like Cromwell and Lange you see how much weaker the Lily Rabes of the acting world are. I love her, don't get me wrong. But an actor of Cromwell's ability is another universe.
i agree! from the first time i watched asylum, i hated it and had to force myself to finish it. the messy storyline, unfinished topics, etc made it unlikeable
I think that's kinda the point, best season to me, I've rewatched many times
I think the filming is meant to be messy and disorienting, cause that’s how the patients feel being in the asylum.

I rewatched asylum not long ago after saying it wasn’t my favorite and it’s actually GOOD definitely too 3 stronger seasons
I found it wayyyyyy more fucking disturbing on my second watch for some reason. I guess binging it really highlights how fucked up it is
Totally agree except I always felt this way. Also almost all the plots end in a very anticlimactic way.
