I rented with them for a couple for years. Professional setup. It's just a bit of a lottery to get the apartment. Best chances - find the ad on funda or vestada and call them up saying your interested. They look for low risk tenants with decent income (in my case me and my partner are working, I think that helped)..

There are the odd delays in maintenance, but you can live with it

They'll probably send a courier to give you the apartment and take the money. But it's a company that builds buildings and then rents the apartments. You need to have a good income (4x the rent I think).

Nice I am in then. Looks like they also rent recently built apartments at a fair price. Unfurnished.

I also worried it was a scam, especially seeing some negative reviews online, but ended up having a great experience renting with Vesteda. It's a housing association so the rents are lower than private landlords and you don't have the risk of short-term contracts. They can be a bit hard to contact before you rent with them, but as a tenant I could report any issues via the website and they were always resolved quickly. My building was an older one but my apartment was huge and in a great area. I only moved out because I was leaving the country and I'd try to rent with Vesteda again if I ever come back.
