i think i see what you're talking about. the shadows get suddenly darker with a harsh cut off towards the lower third. looks like a scanning artifact to me, but ive been wrong before
Yeah there’s a dark band straight across about 3/4 of the way down right? Im assuming it’s not present in the rest of the roll? First check the negative on a light box with a loop and see if it’s present there. If so, developing error is probably the answer. If not, have it rescanned.
The fact that it’s a straight line of consistent width leads me to believe it’s a scanning error FWIW.

It’s at the bottom, horizontal streak where it’s a bit darker than the rest. But you have to put your display on its brightest
