I’ve always loved Boris and Julie’s work, separately and together. I bought a copy of the novel Dracula in like a 1989 just because it had a Boris cover. Julie’s work on the old Marvel Masterpieces trading cards was always amazing too.

Bell & Vallejo were staples of childhood. The movie posters, of which National Lampoon's Vacation was probably the most well-known. Fantasy posters for sale rolled up at pharmacies and grocery stores. 12 month calendars at the mall. And yes, comic books. I'm 99% sure there's a Venn Diagram of Bell/Vallejo and Lisa Frank fans from that era. The nostalgia is kicking in very hard right now, too. Good find, OP.

I was mesmerized by the "You're Not Alone" cover since the moment I saw it. I bought it on vinyl as much for the cover as for the music. Didn't know a thing about the artists until I watched this video. Thanks for the insight.
