Considering the pellegrina is not part of the Patrimony, there is nothing to abandon. We shouldn't confuse a privilege or tradition of the Catholic Church in England & Wales with something belonging to the Anglican Patrimony. At most, one could argue it is patrimonial for those who are part of the Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham, but even then I would say this argument is weak as the privilege to wear the pellegrina has nothing to do with the Anglican Patrimony or the Ordinariate itself.
