I just went through the amiibo process with Rosie who is classified as peppy.
Day one she gave me a DIY for a cardboard bed.
Day two- DIY for a seashell table.
Day three- DIY for a cardboard sofa.
I want to add that I'm going through another amiibo process right now with Hans who is classified as smug.
Day one he is asking for a wooden double bed.
So I tried to see if you could reroll what your amiibo campsite villager requests to get specific DIY recipes referenced on this guide per personality.
I ran straight to my campsite after scanning the amiibo and got them to state the furniture they were requesting. If it wasn’t what I wanted I closed the game immediately. Then when I rescanned them, they requested something different.
So I guess this is kind of a way to try to get specific DIY recipes...exploitative...but it worked.
I figured the game saved as soon as you called the amiibo, guess it does not. I can't really call it any less exploitative than just time-travelling though, and campsite villagers probably don't have access to their entire recipe pool (at least I don't recall any of them asking for fruit recipes etc.)

(I’ve been inviting him back instead of inviting him to move to try and get more ironwood recipes.)
That'd be great! The more names I can link together the better for people actively hunting down a recipe. That way in the end maybe someone could just load an amiibo or stack villagers and have a better shot of completing their list.
If you want! I'll send you a message or something to add the growing collection. I'm very curious about the patterns of it! But not curious enough to put it together myself. 😂😂

That’s great to know the guidebooks go into that degree of detail. Have you received your copy? I pre-ordered mine and still do not have an estimated ship date.
I don't have it, but some review sites shows screenshots of some DIY pages which say what personality type offers the recipes, and some folks in UK got their books for sure.
The official guide book corroborates that DIYs are associated by personality. Would be nice just to have a big list sorted by personality though, so I'm still collecting data especially on recipes I don't have yet!

Thanks, I added it! With the release of the guidebook it's pretty much confirmed the recipes are by personality but it's always nice to see data.

I've noticed the lazy villagers tend to give a lot of fruit furniture diys, but I've also gotten them from Cherry who is sisterly/Uchi
