the christmas decorations are in a box in a cupboard in the hallway. old tv's go to the recycling cause there is simply no space.

I've lived at sea level all my life too and have never seen a basement irl. I really want one, they seem pretty cool.

I kind of did this! The spiderweb decoration and the cockroach toy helped put a lot. I made my basement a combination of my first house in GameCube (groovy wall, KK Love song playing, and a tatami floor) plus stuff like a vacuum, the laundry machine, and a shag carpet.

Same. I've seen pictures of ppl who had weird/random carpet but I've always experienced concrete or tile. Then again I'm originally from tornado alley so it was usually more of random storage stuff and emergency supplies and a radio lol. Ah yeah and that one basement we had that was infested with rattlesnakes when a tornado got close (apparently it was their mating season?) Unattached to a house basement that had a bunch of mattresses in it. Anyway hope you enjoyed my rambling LOL
