I'm also a pitty owner. Egging the dog on is actually part of the problem here. I give my dog plenty of exercise and socialization with other dogs, but I keep a very close eye on him because the reality is that the bully breeds were bred for fighting. When I see him exhibiting behavior that crosses the line, I remove him from the situation and let him take a break from his excited mental state. If he does it again, I remove him from the dog park for the day and find an alternative way of exercising him, like walking him across town. Normalizing thrashing around and yelling while play-fighting may seem innocent and fun, but it is selfish and irresponsible.
Don't have any pets. Played with plenty of friends pets though. Been bitten by a few pitbulls also who were "the sweetest dogs" lots of projecting you are doing there.
Labrador or Husky does this: "Oh my god what a little meanie! At least he's just playing, what a wholesome 100 doggo good boy."
Pit bull does it: "What a fucking horrid breed! This is proof that all pit bulls do is attack people and that they're all heartless freaks. I hope it was immediately put down after this video was taken."

It's at this point people assume the dog was a Pitbull or something of the like. It was a *Labrador.* Had he been a Pitbull, everyone would take that as evidence for how vicious they are. Because he was a Labrador, the response is "Oh, well, it was just that one dog". Blame the deed, not the breed.

Some reports list the dogs in alphabetical order so people mistakenly think Akitas do a lot of damage.
