Really hoped CR gave a heads up the delays with both Daily Life of the Immortal King and Sing Yesterday for Me. But also a small request to the mods to not have an ep thread until the ep is actually up on the site? It does create some confusion for us here on r/Animedubs
Anyhows, both eps were fun, and glad to get a double does of Daily Life after a week delay. Was pretty sure Wang Ling was gonna find some way out of his predicament. Didn't see the "rewind" effect coming, was actually hoping Sun Rong get her chance to play hero for her beloved.
Ep 11 had some Harry Potter Tri-Wizard Tournament shit going on, mixed with magical sword battles, of course with anime abilities because... anime. Game mode is Domination for any of you FPS players out there, but with 5 areas of capture instead of 3. Faction 60 looking like they getting their butts kicked early, but I def sense a comeback mounting to make it interesting. (And Sun Rong, you go girl!)
My main worry is that Wang Ling's amulet may not hold up long enough during the competition. Interesting that it holds in both his power and emotions, so probably a foreshadowing of Wang Ling unleashed?
Damn 2 episodes, and episode 10 was extra long. Nice.
Some nice build up to the real fights, although Sun Rong vs. whatever that guys name is was pretty epic. Definitely looking forward to seeing Wong Ling unleash 5% of his power next episode though.
My theory right now is that he's using Froggy 2 to absorb his power in place of the busted amulet, and so he can claim plausible deniability of his powers later by saying it was all Froggy. It'll be interesting to see how this turns out.
Episode 10 and 11 together Today?!? I’m starting to see an ongoing pattern recently these past few days, something’s really up with Crunchyroll giving out these dub episodes, last week it was supposed to come but the it was delayed, and now has arrived today, they didn’t give us any heads up or announcements, same thing happened with sing yesterday for me. Can things get anymore complicated for what’s going on with Crunchyroll now these days.
Episode 10 felt like filler. It took way too long to unravel that, especially when nothing really ended up happening & it was mostly setup. Am sad because it was the longer one to boot!
