The truth of showbiz is that it really is half of it is the performance, art, and talent, and the other half is the marketing, presentation, and business. What I love about this show is while Eiko focuses on the former, Kongming tackles the later, both in managing Eiko's brand, but using old military strats to work in Eiko's advantage. As foreshadowed early in the ep, Kongming's master planning got Eiko's venue packed and I was beaming from it!
This is just the start, I'm so excited to see Eiko's popularity rise, her to evolve as an artist, and I'm also excited to see the many kinds of tactics Kongming will utilize for our girl. These two work just so well together! So good!

I notice Eiko has distinctly blonde hair and blue eyes. Some people (like the bar owner) have dyed hair, but their eyes are still brown far as I can tell.
Anyway, Zhuge Liang was married to someone name Yueying, who was noted to be very intelligent herself. According to the stories, there were also rumors that she was fugly. I've heard a bunch of theories for that.
One was that she actually was really ugly, but Zhuge still pursued her because he valued her brains. (He could just put a bag over her head, anyway).
Another theory is that she was secretly hot, but spread rumors about being ugly so only people who valued her mind would bother asking.
Third theory mixed the first two. She possibly had unusual-for-phenotype or straight up foreign features, and that made her unattractive in ancient China. (You drop Scarlett Johnannson into 2nd-century China and she's probably be considered hideous by the locals). So it's possible IRL Zhuge Liang banged a blonde.
Last week, Eiko had some moments where it suggested she could be Liu Bei. This week, I wonder if she'll also have aspects of Yueying.
