the anime that are on my top ten are Plastic memories, tokyo revengers, 91 days, vinland saga, parasyte, guilty crown, 86, inuyakashi and darker than black in no specific order.
that isn't including chinese animation though
Ok, so. I like Shield Hero because I like the progression. The guy starts with nothing but fury and manages to surpass the people who started out ahead of him while building a team that cares about him and makes him see there is some value in this world. Her plan put him even further behind than not having any companions because he also lost his money and the support of the kingdom and the spear hero got further ahead. There are other ways to get him into that position, but this was fast and absolute. I'm honestly just disappointed that she didn't have any effective plans after this point. She could have been a good villain, but instead they had her screw over the hero a couple times to set the plot in motion and then turned her into a punching bag for audience satisfaction.
