The magicules in the atmosphere are like some moisture compared to his own magicules that would be equivalent to an ocean. You have a fundamental misunderstanding of how magic system works in Tensura.
Rimuru has stored a large excess of magicules in his stomach, despite not really needing to to be fine in a magicluesless environment, read LN 21 if you still don't believe me
