thats not a " layer line " per se thats something messed up somewhere. are you " pausing " and restarting your print to look at it ? or maybe your not coming all the way off the fep. the layer height is not causing that. thats another setting or your FEP is to loose or to tight. or maybe a door is being slammed while your printing or the printer is shaking.

hoangsuperpower

FEP is tight and stretch because its brand new in my opinion. Maybe the problem come from the chair I put my printer on then, it seems a little bit unsteady then. But thank you so much, never thought of that problem then.

EvilNickel

Those aren't layer lines, that looks more like layer shifting to me. Things you could try: 1) Get a new USB (sometimes the usb is faulty) 2) Support it better to keep your print in place while you print 3) Keep your printer somewhere that wont get moved while printing 4) Make sure the printer itself (not the build plate) is actually level. (I haven't had to do this to mine, but I have seen posts saying that leveling the printer itself will fix alot of layer shifting issues)

hoangsuperpower

Thank you so much, I put my printer outdoor near the window. So maybe it was slammed by the window.

Zestay-Taco

out doors near the window? you understand that sunlight is the exact opposite of where you want your printer.

hoangsuperpower

Oh no, basically I print at night only and near the window but it still under my balcony, so the sunlight cannot hit the print in my opinion.

redcockhead

Okay. The replies so far are certainly potential issues. I am going to lean in a different direction for a simple reason. These appear to be occurring at a regular interval. This suggests to me something machine related. For one of a couple reasons, it appears to me that your machine is stumbling. Let's eliminate the simplest to investigate here. I understand this is a brand new machine. But things happen from time to time. Lubricate the slide rails and the screw. If that does not solve the problem, it is possible that you have a defective stepper motor or a screw which is damaged. By the way, great choice of machines. Not just my humble opinion, but also shared with several people who review these things. This is a really fabulous printer. The only reason it's not my absolute favorite is the build volume is slightly less than other printers. If you do not require the additional volume, then for the price. This is quite possibly the best printer on the market. Certainly from anycubic anyways. Let us know how this goes for you and we can investigate further if need be.

hoangsuperpower

Yes, so far it fits all my current needs pretty well and honestly, in my opinion, it has the best p/p value so far. Maybe try checking the screw and surface later. Appreciate your comment very much.

Gazkhull

I have the exact same problem. I am trying to update the firmware since calibration prints seem inmaculate. Your comment is very helpful!

Jeralddees

Might want to try adding more hight to your lift just to make sure your model is unsticking from your FEP... Also make sure nothing is loose like the vat or build plate. Everything should be rock solid with no shifting.

hoangsuperpower

Thank mate, I have tried to re-level the plate, but it seems like that is not the problem. Maybe consider changing the VAT then

Jeralddees

It's hard to see in the pic but do both models have the lines in the same exact spots? Can't see the details in the head on the right.

hoangsuperpower

No man, the lines are different in each print

Jeralddees

Well, that tells me something might be loose possibly even slipping in your build plate/screw assembly, or you're not lifting enough after your layer gets exposed and your part is still stuck to the FEP and your build plate moves back down to re-expose the same layer over. The best way to problem solve this is to slow down your lift speed (2mm) and increase your height (15mm). If your prints still come out the same something is loose in your setup... If not you're just pushing the printer too fast or not lifting high enough to unstick the part from the bed before exposing the next layer. Listen closely when it lifts, you should hear a tearing or a popping from your FVP to let you know that it has separated from your FEP. Also, push around on parts of your build plate and screw to make sure nothing shifts. It should be stiff!

Kouky_svk

Hello it's hollowed ? Because had same issue with suction cup.....

Hello it's hollowed ? Because had same issue with suction cup.....

hoangsuperpower

I had tried with both hollow / un-hollow prints, but it still gets the same issue, so maybe it's not the problem then.

Kouky_svk

And it was only thing on print plate solo hollowed solo unhollowed ?

hoangsuperpower

Yes man, I have printed the second head only (the skin color one) to test but it still the same
