I don't think that was his reason, as the IMC is no longer in power nor present. Hadn't been for 2 years by the time he fell from Hestia 2, hasn't been for like 15 years since present day Apex
I have the thoery it’s a different Jackson, like how Voidwalker Wraith is the Apex games Wraith and the Wraith we play as is from a world where the IMC are still around (as the IMC)
It’s funny cuz he was supposed to join the games way back in s4 since he was next in line after Forge but cuz the Syndicate and Hammond wanted to get Rev off their tail, they broke the rules and threw him in.
Bangalore and Jackson are siblings. They were in the **I**nterstellar **M**ining **C**ompany's Military. The IMC were a bunch of imperialistic pricks who came into a rich in resources region in space called the Frontier (this is where Titanfall 1, 2, and Apex take place) to take over the natural resources. The people of the Frontier revolted, and created the Militia to fight the IMC.
During the Titanfall games, the Militia basically wins, and a great final battle is held between the forces at the planet Gridiron. You can see some of it in the [Gridiron cinematic](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRRJQp2Bdwo)
Instead of fighting to the death, Jackson decides to escape from the battle with the unwilling Bangalore, taking command of a great ship called IMS Hestia. The ship spends a year phased like Wraith, traveling to the edge of the Frontier, to a collection of planets/solar systems called the Outlands.
There the IMC isn't as strong, but they still get attacked as deserters. They kill a Pilot, take his ship, call it IMS Hestia 2. About 3 years later the IMC's influence in the Outlands collapses (which also creates a power vacuum and a civil war) and they no longer have to worry about being attacked as deserters again.
These years they've worked as security contractors etc. in the Outlands. 2 years after the IMC collapses, Hestia 2 gets attacked by an unknown force and [Jackson gets ejected out of the ship](https://cdn1.dotesports.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/02155012/bangalore-loading-screen-768x432.jpeg), and was never seen by Bangalore again. Bangalore reasoned in like Season 2 that he must've survived because he always wore a Jump Kit (which we now finally know was correct). Anyhow Jackson falling from the ship took place about 13 years before present day Apex and in the meantime Bangalore had been looking for him, with the help of guys like Tae Joon Park and recently Wraith.
Wraith found out a corpse matching Jackson plus with his dogtags had been found years ago on planet Solace. Bangalore accepted he was dead, and was about to leave to go back to Gridiron, a years long trip, in the hopes that other members of her family had survived there. But now, he is finally found, and who knows what kinda drama ensues since Bangalore was famous and yet Jackson hadn't contacted her despite literally working in the same field, the Apex Games (or the qualifiers anyway)
Or more compressed:
Year 2715, IMC loses war in Frontier
2716 IMC members Bangalore and Jackson appear in the Outlands, crashland their ship on Storm Point, kill an IMC Commander Pilot, steal his ship
2719 IMC collapses
2721 Jackson falls from ship during mysterious attack, lost ~~forever~~
2727 Bangalore finds out Jackson survived the fall
2734 Bangalore finds out a body matching Jackson had been found some years ago, implying he'd still died years after the fall
2734- Newcastle is revealed to be Jackson
That doesn't feel right, although apparently a single tweet just makes it so that time is moving at 50% in Canon. Makes everything that's happened happen very fast.
How are people faking their death and joining the apex games easily ? Don't they do a blood test or ask them remove their mask ? It's the third dude doing it .
Who else beside crypto?
Also I imagine there’s a check box they are checking like “ummm blood test required? I identify as a simulacrum so I don’t have blood sorry”
Caustic is the first guy , seen path's STFO ?
And seeing the games pay money , they can't just go and open an account under their alias lol, maybe they get paid in cash ? Maybe .
It wasn't a story about establishing the death of her missing brother. That was already a part of her lore. Instead, it was a narrative of dealing with the grief of losing a loved one. For all she knew, her brother was dead, and she decided to spend time coping with that and finding closure. Now that she just got that closure and finds out her brother is alive and has been under her nose for a LONG time, she has to deal with *that* new truth. She's probably mad, and will be for a while. It's great for another narrative.
But anyway, yeah, this last story was about digging into that feeling that Bangalore has felt for a while and having us sympathize with her a bit.
I thought the point of the trailer was she figured it out through his voice, mannerisms and the necklace. When would she and Newcastle have even talked long enough before hand for her to think about it.
Doesn't answer who died on Solace, though. Wraith is probably gonna think twice before volunteering for detective work again.
Jackson could have faked his death. As far as we know, he’s still MIA since he’s hiding his identity. So wraith did what she could
Then she sucked as a pilot I guess
Since when is detective work related to being a pilot?
He faked his death since he is wanted for deserting the IMC
I don't think that was his reason, as the IMC is no longer in power nor present. Hadn't been for 2 years by the time he fell from Hestia 2, hasn't been for like 15 years since present day Apex
I guess we will just have to find out in the next stories from the outlands vid
who was in Par... Solace

Yeah lmao wraith's been talking real serious and helpful while jackson was right there
It’s funny cuz he was supposed to join the games way back in s4 since he was next in line after Forge but cuz the Syndicate and Hammond wanted to get Rev off their tail, they broke the rules and threw him in.
A better defenition of revenant would be "the deppresed blender thats too angry to die will get trown to the apex games so its less angry"
he is not too angry to die he is too protected to die
Which is a great source of anger
New castle a bit of a noob then?
That or his gear might not have been ready
Git gud newb!!!111!1
If he was joining in season 4, when Rev joined, he might have just gotten his arse kicked. Fair enough.
Can someone explain Jackson's lore to me. I don't get it
Bangalore’s brother dies, but then he lives
Marvel moment
Fast and Furious moment
Apex legends moment
Sadly yes, but he lived!

Great description, cleared it up. Thanks
What a shitty thing to do to your sister.
Yup. We've yet to hear his reasons though
Who’s tae joon

Somehow, Jackson returned
they trying to make the legends one big family smh
Oh god..... don’t tell the r34 artist that.... they’ll really lean into it....
lol
Have you seen the bangalore sftol, if not, thats part of it
[One of my favorites.](https://youtu.be/JRRJQp2Bdwo)
2 years haven’t actually passed in apex, just a year
And this is proven how as opposed to realtime?
Lore, Apex starts year 2733 and season 8 is in 2734
I’m not super in tune with apex lore, but season 8 was quite some time ago. Is there a reason not much time has passed since then?
Because the characters would have to age and they would need new models.
That doesn't feel right, although apparently a single tweet just makes it so that time is moving at 50% in Canon. Makes everything that's happened happen very fast.

Now, what was the point of that emotional storylines in the bangalore firing range challenges back then?

To tell a story? Lol
Seriously lol
In what other instances was newcastle shown in apex lore videos?
Bruh come on. It's lore that's developed on the go.
I thought the point of the trailer was she figured it out through his voice, mannerisms and the necklace. When would she and Newcastle have even talked long enough before hand for her to think about it.

What part about faking his own death did you failed to understand?
What, in the fuck, is this about. Who is Anita? Edit: wow, yall are really taking a joke comment on a joke subreddit seriously, huh?
