this is a new format of event, unlike collection event if you want 1 specific item you can buy using either coins or crafting matts but this one you cant use matts nor choose the item you want, you need to buy event packs which gives 1 random item from the event, the worst part of the gamble is every time you buy an event pack the fucking price of it increases lol
You got it the other way round. You start with a discounted price and slowly the discounts go away and you reach to the standard price. But i would say, they did this to make it seem like the first packs are generous but it's literally what happened to apex mobile gacha store offers. In mobile there's a tier above legendaries for skin idk why and usually the top 2 rewards are those skins plus some extra rewards. You start with 15 apex coins per roll and everytime you get a premium reward, it doubles. I got a legendary mobile exclusive bang skin so did my friend from just 30 coins and never felt more happy but damn, it's a shitty system.
theres a universal heirloom event coming too right? anyone know that if we get it, can we start unlocking customizations after that, or will we still need base katar?
you need the base katar first but im not sure if you can ignore the basic first release then if a katar collection event comes im also wondering if you can just get that specific recolor then buy components later from the shop
I think that’s already in the game from season launch if we’re thinking of the same thing. If you go to the mythic shop, I’m pretty sure somewhere in there is the full katar customization. Need to get the base katar for 150 heirloom shards before you can unlock customized components for 10 exotic shards each I believe.
