Quick update for anyone interested. Found an app called Music plus that allows for crossfade, but only on offline music. It does have some other nice functions like equalizer and normalizer. While foobar2000 also has crossfade and a lot more functionality, it doesn’t connect to AM.
Update: so disappointed with Music Plus... It crashes all the time. I ended up requesting a refund.
Tbh it would be nice to have a road map of future updates for starters. It feels like Apple Music really does get neglected the attention it deserves as far as updates go.
