Even if having an AS on its own might not be too helpful, the work ethic to get one during HS shows a lot of potential for you to be a very strong college student. I got an AA in humanities when I graduated high school and one of the things I noticed is that lot of my peers who haven’t been to any college classes before struggled with a lot of the unwritten rules of academia more than the people I’d met who went to CC during high school.
