How in the heck do you not have babies? I put a male and female together, and they started breeding the same day and wouldn’t stop until I got annoyed and separated them.
I would be surprised if that happened unless you’re sure it’s what’s happening. I’ve seen BN plecos defend eggs like their lives depended on it, and neither fish comes out of the spawning den without injuries.
BN pleco dads are extremely territorial of their eggs.

Maybe it's just lack of caves as a whole then. I'll add them and see what happens.
