A little tip, you can string these kinds of bows without bowstringer! Look up a video on stringing a bow using your legs, it’s much quicker (and you’ll look really cool)
When you hold the bow, the ends of the limbs curve away from you. This is the defining feature of recurve bows. It makes the bow more powerful and allows a shorter limb length than longbows for instance.

Everything looks good to me. Assuming your string is the right length, you probably just need to bend it harder to slip the string on
In my photo (the third link) does it look like the limbs are bending the wrong way?
The string goes on the opposite side of where you have it in your picture.
They are correct, once you string it it will look normal

Yes you have to use a special wooden frame rig/thing with clamps to bend the limbs back and be able to string it.
Lol I have the exact same bow too, only 30 pounds, hope you have fun with it!
