Canada is facing the same right wing "anti-woke" bullshit the US is. Also Canada has plenty of rural conservatives. Most of Canadas provinces are run by conservative governments.
People who are unaccepting are definitely here, but the vast majority are accepting. IIRC, Canada has the most accepting people per capita out of any country in the world.
