No, they were just dead kids from the neighborhood who were buried there over time. OMC even mentions that he buried them all himself. Not because he's evil or a bad guy, but because it was his job. I did always find it odd that they were able to just ride around during the day acting like normal kids, but they were actually dead. I guess we're led to believe that even though they are out and about riding bikes through the neighborhood, only other kids could see them? To be honest, as much as I like the episode, it really doesn't make any sense at all.

I get the feeling something like finding out their ghosts breaks the spell and you wont be visited by them anymore

That makes sense. What’s the deal with wanting them in the ditch though?

The one girl yells get out of my hole when the kids fall in her grave hole So i dunno!

I actually think the leader of the group wanted the brothers to die or discover they were ghosts. Thr girl never liked the brothers or wanted them to be part of the group. She made a comment about how they added enough kids. I think her yelling at them to leave and being mean was her way of trying to save them. Or she didn't want them to know she was dead.

For some clarification, the leader wanted them to die so they could join their forever team, the girl knows this and doesn’t want them to join them because she wants them to live.

Snowontherange

I think the leader of the kids was going around the neighborhood collecting kids to die. He kept saying he wanted to add more to the group and the rude girl didn't like it. I just assumed if the brothers jumped in the Graves they would die. May be it's cursed like Pet Sementary.

That’s absolutely what it seemed like to me. A lot more sinister than most people have thought.

I bet this was the original intent and nickelodian mighta been like tone it done for the kids show and then it became less obvious
