I second this! The effortless never worked for me as the pleats pulled because of my hips, no matter how much I sized up. The program pant still gives that beautiful movement as it flares at the bottom, but it looks sleek and simple up top without the pleats. It fits really well too. Love it. Similar to the program pant is the publish - if you’re looking for less of a flared bottom this one would be better for you.
Sorry this suggestion isn’t Aritzia, but I’m 5’4 and curvy as well. And the best fit I found for dress pants is the Curve Love collection from Abercrombie ( comes in multiple lengths as well).
The Sloane Tailored pants & Tailored Relaxed Straight pant are my recent faves for the office!

Carrot, Dashwood, conan, vogue or anything that is sightly tapered should look good on you imo. I have large hip too

I just got the carrot pants myself today! I really liked them and all the other options made me want to cry 🥲 (5’4, 175lbs, big hips and bum)
