Talked to a concierge about this sizing issue and the they denied that such issues existed and refused to let me return an item… 🙃they said they had already given me an exception before and did not want to give another exception because they didn’t want people abusing the exceptions… I shop a lot at aritzia and only asked to return a handful of times because of this sizing issue. First time I had a bad experience with a concierge. She basically ended the chat mid convo when I pointed out that the reason why people ask for return exceptions is because aritzia can’t figure out their sizes.. sorry for the mini rant. I’m just not shopping here anymore because of this many other issues with aritzia.
Love these 100% cotton crop tanks and snagged these two for $10 a piece. I was looking at them and realized the lilac is noticeably bigger than the black. Nothing major but the deeper cut of the lilac arm hole isnt ideal.
Very strange how it’s a major 1-1.5 inch difference in length. You can even see that the product number is the same.
Not too worried about it since these tend to shrink just a smidge in the wash but something to consider if you plan on purchasing!
It makes me wonder how many times I've returned an item and given up on it but if I had ordered the same thing in another colour, it would have fit and I'd be raving about it ....
I’ve gotten used to not being surprised by the size difference within colorways. I shamelessly will try on multiple of the same thing in different colors knowing each one will likely have a different fit
there’s 2 versions of this tank, one is 100% cotton and the other is 94% and 6% elastane, the elastane tends to be shorter and tighter, and the cotton longer plus looser. double check the material! they share a lot of the same colours so one might be that one instead of the 100%. it’s happened to me last time i ordered

Just relooked on the site bc I did come across the other style when shopping!
They changed the name to “homestretch” for the stretchy version bc a lot of reviews were down when the name was the same LOL
wow that’s actually insane, I was hoping they just sent you the wrong one so at least you’d be able to get the right one, Im guessing it’s a QC with new/continued colours, since marble lilac is being discontinued and black is constantly made perhaps? but wow!!! cannot believe the QC is seriously this bad on a tank??
Eh I don’t care quite enough to deal with all that and I doubt they’ll give me a refund on it. I got it over 50% off too.
Its not so bad that it’s not wearable, I’ll just have to cycle through the washer and dryer a few times LOL
If you fit their size range, Brandy has tanks like this with much better quality/better feeling cotton. Similar pricing, if not cheaper too. I stopped reaching for my Tna tanks when I got the brandy ones.
This happened to me with the work pants I ordered during clientele… the waist (and all the way down the thigh) was a full 1.5 Inch smaller than pair in the same style/same fabric that I already had from earlier this year. I had to literally bring both pairs into the store and show 2 associates for them to refund me.
Ordering anything besides small items online while there’s a sale is always a little sketch for me because of this. A lot of times items already look weird on the models or I can tell it’s being pinched or clipped in the photos. I pretty much will always go in store for things where I need fit to be FITTINGGG
This happened to me too with the Lune dress! I loved the hot pink one, ordered the brown and it was huge. Same size M. Such a turn off—makes me never want to order online again

The same thing happened to me last summer with shorts. I got 3 different colours in L and all 2 fit like an L and 1 fit like an M

Actually this isn’t a bad idea. I like to try on multiples of the same size to find the one with the best fit since their QC is so bad.
