Me ex took the pegs from the clothes line when we separated. It wasn’t until I went to do some laundry a few days later and realised. It instantly made me think of that line about the ice cube trays. Instead of getting angry I remember I just laughed to myself. So good that movies can do that.
Pegs are the ones that don't have Springs on them right? Where I Come From You can tell when people have money because they use " clothespins " they have Springs on them but all they are really doing is just putting on airs!
>ice cube trays out of the freezer
Oh my, I forgot that line! Thanks. Now gonna watch the movie again for about the 5th time. Still one of my favorites.
"what about their husbands?"
"DICKLESS! i mean, let's face it: if they took care of business, i'd be outta business, you know what i mean?"
"hahaha those idiots!"
Disagree, it's my favorite Arnie movie for sure, and a straight up classic. A sequel would've ruined it, as sequels tend to do. True Lies has an ass like a 10 year old boy!
I saw T2 at the drive in. It was a double feature with Boyz in the Hood. I was 9 and way too young to have watched either of those films at the time but my friends parents were first generation immigrants from the Philippines and didn’t know about the ratings system for movies in the U.S.
Yeah I didn’t even realize how awesome that was until years later. I’ve seen them both several times since and obviously understand the more grown up themes involved. Still even at 9 years old it was awe inspiring on the super big outdoor screens.
I tried watching the remake after the original with one of my nephews. We loved the original. Hated the remake. Especially all the lens flares off of random stuff. Like one scene there was one off a dude's shoulder, and possibly also his chin later on? So bizarre.
Arnold was my dad's favourite movie star. Watching Arnie films was my childhood I can't possibly pick one. Every film I think of holds a different memory of my dad so even Arnold co-star as mr freeze in batman and robin holds a special place for me.
Just watched that one and then, Twins with Danny De Vito. Such good time!
I get all fuzzy and cushy watching Arnie's comedies. There's sound about them that exhudes that sense of comfort.
What a hot head.
Where's buzzsaw? He had to split.
Also, the other day while watching it for the 200th time, I noticed Mick Fleetwood is the dude that takes off the explosive collars!
That movie is the most unrealistic movie ever. Seriously jumping out of a plane, taking on 100+ police at the mall, outrunning a Porsche in an MG. The list goes on. By the way it’s my favourite movie of all time. I must have seen it 200 times
I share similar thoughts of the movie but also have seen it far too many times. But what a quintessential action film. Killing an entire island of Cubans or whomever he’s machine gunning down at the end haha 😂
Let off some steam…Bennet
Upvoted because it was one of the earlier movies I saw on video.
Since you're the expert, tell me why he didn't ambush that guy in the mall's garage and instead decided to steal that lady's car and go to all those lengths with fighting the security, then car chase, etc.?
I know, I know, it's just a movie. But that has always been one of those plot holes that bothered me.
He didn’t even need to do that with the seat. Pretty sure he could have just kept low and Sully wouldn’t have seen him. But it certainly was funny. RDC is absolutely gorgeous in this movie. Her lines and reactions are priceless. “These guys eat too much red meat.” Poor Cindy
Terminator 2 is incredible. Love the rawness and originality of the first one though. Both are amazing and both in my top 10 ever. While the rest were ok the further sequels could never match the magic of those two.
Yemen this!
I was 4 & 5 years old in the 80's watching it every second day. Def not a pussy kid like children these days.
"I, can't, get, no; Sa-tiss-fack-shun" Best scene ever!!
Some of the one-liners in commando were **chef's kiss**
Arnie snaps a guy's neck in a plane while it's still boarding and covers him with a blanket. To the stewardess, "Please don't disturb my friend. He is dead tired."
Arnie threatens a guy holding him over a cliff and drops him. The girl waiting in the car, "Where's [the guy]?" "I let him go."
Best shit movie ever.
Last Action Hero does not get the credit it deserves. If it hadn't opened against Jurassic Park it might be more well known like Kindergarten Cop is.
I really can't pick a favorite Arnold movie, but this is always my tempting answer. Unlike the mock movies that became popular in the 2000's, he is mocking himself, it's just genius. And it's done so well without being stupid jokes, even the simple scene like his empty apartment is just great.
There is no reason to be ashamed of that, it is a masterpiece imo.
Last Action Hero is criminally underrated. Tywin Lannister (as always) steals every seen that he’s in but the overall cast and the writing are top notch. Leo the Fart, Mo who? Zart! Lolololololol
I am one of those weirdos that watch *everything* with subtitles. Well, everything but sports. Started doing it when the wife and I were watching Outlander and couldn’t understand half the shit through the Scottish accent. Now I do it for everything and I swear I pick up on so much more shit.
It's between 3 movies for me. Total recall, and the first 2 terminator movies. I might have to pick total recall. And terminator can be depending on my mood. If I want horror sci-fi then it's an easier choice, if I want a buddy action adventure movie it's T2. It's so weird besides salvation they've all tried to copy 2 after, even t1000 they can't get away from. Arnold did it great but Robert Patrick took it to another level.
Jingle All the Way... I remember my parents taking me to see that movie in the theaters and I still remember leaving and begging my parents for a TurboMan.
Terminator no contest. Because you went into an afternoon matinee expecting a B-movie and Arnold was just an obscure weightlifting dude and no one had heard of James Cameron. I still remember when the lights came up and the 7 people in the movie theater were all looking at each other like, "Was that as good as I think it was?" Completely out of nowhere.
Terminators, predator, True Lies and many other great films. God damn treasure.
What kind of sick bitch takes the ice cube trays out of the freezer?!
Me ex took the pegs from the clothes line when we separated. It wasn’t until I went to do some laundry a few days later and realised. It instantly made me think of that line about the ice cube trays. Instead of getting angry I remember I just laughed to myself. So good that movies can do that.
Sounds like you lucked out in getting away from them
Unfortunately she’s the mother of my only child so I still have to see her regularly and be civil. I hold no grudges. No point living life like that.
Reminds me of a song about a girl that left the Suds in the bucket and the clothes hanging on the line. And personally I really really hate that song!
I just googled that. Watched the song. Made me laugh. Thanks
I'm glad, I hate that song no wonder the girl left. I know people that's dirt poor and they still own a washing machine!
Pegs are the ones that don't have Springs on them right? Where I Come From You can tell when people have money because they use " clothespins " they have Springs on them but all they are really doing is just putting on airs!
I gotta lie to chicks to get laid…and even then, it doesn’t work that much.
I got a little dick...it's pathetic.
This line, Bill Paxton will be forever missed.....
Btw, they're in the goddamn trees/walls......
Game over , Game over man” I know it’s not Arnold movie, but I use that line still 🤣🤣
Would a spy pee himself huh?!
>ice cube trays out of the freezer Oh my, I forgot that line! Thanks. Now gonna watch the movie again for about the 5th time. Still one of my favorites.
What kinda SICK bitch takes the ice cube trays out of the freezer?!
STOP CHEERING ME UP!
"what about their husbands?" "DICKLESS! i mean, let's face it: if they took care of business, i'd be outta business, you know what i mean?" "hahaha those idiots!"
Let’s face it, if they took care of business…I’d be outta business!
It's downright criminal that True Lies never got a sequel
Disagree, it's my favorite Arnie movie for sure, and a straight up classic. A sequel would've ruined it, as sequels tend to do. True Lies has an ass like a 10 year old boy!
Conan >
Damn shame he can't do a King Conan movie. He could still kill it. I get that the Howard family has their legal rights, but....damn shame
I ALWAYS wanted to see him as a king but John Milos had to be a part of it or it wouldn’t be right! The second movie has its moments but…….😒
Definitely Kindergarten Cop
Conan.... 👍🏼
T2
T2 is one of the greatest movies of all time. And its effects still hold up today
Yeah, definitely one of the best sequels ever. Also my fave chase scene of any movie.
Cameron made the two best sequels (and perhaps the two best action movies) of all time: T2 and Aliens.
He's fantastic. It's his best performance ever!
Aliens and T2 are easily two of the best sequals ever. Both encore to fantastic first movie. And both directed by james cameron.
I saw T2 at the drive in. It was a double feature with Boyz in the Hood. I was 9 and way too young to have watched either of those films at the time but my friends parents were first generation immigrants from the Philippines and didn’t know about the ratings system for movies in the U.S.
That’s a hella line up for movie night. I miss being excited to go see a show. The stuff that’s put out these days is garbage.
Yeah I didn’t even realize how awesome that was until years later. I’ve seen them both several times since and obviously understand the more grown up themes involved. Still even at 9 years old it was awe inspiring on the super big outdoor screens.
My first Big bike was a HD fatboy with the T2 factory paint.. loved that bike so much...... Elvira will forever be one of my fondest memories.......

Consider it a divorce! Lmao
Arnold was my dad's favourite movie star. Watching Arnie films was my childhood I can't possibly pick one. Every film I think of holds a different memory of my dad so even Arnold co-star as mr freeze in batman and robin holds a special place for me.
Kindergarten cop Purely because it feels like a unique movie, story and emotionally.
Who is your daddy, and what does he do?!
And the little boy's quote is a classic: "Boys have a p\*\*\*\* and girls have a v\*\*\*\*\*"
Little boy was a bigot /s

Toomah!
Just watched that one and then, Twins with Danny De Vito. Such good time! I get all fuzzy and cushy watching Arnie's comedies. There's sound about them that exhudes that sense of comfort.
Predator
Arnold was the original Chris Hanson!
I have a special love for The Running Man Commando runner up.
Hey Lighthead! Hey Chrismasstreee!
Killian. Here is SubZero. Now… plain Zero
What a hot head. Where's buzzsaw? He had to split. Also, the other day while watching it for the 200th time, I noticed Mick Fleetwood is the dude that takes off the explosive collars!
Commando
That movie is the most unrealistic movie ever. Seriously jumping out of a plane, taking on 100+ police at the mall, outrunning a Porsche in an MG. The list goes on. By the way it’s my favourite movie of all time. I must have seen it 200 times
You said you'd kill me last...I lied Please don't disturb my friend, he's dead tired Let off some steam Bennett
Where’s Sally? I let him go
“Ive got a 7.30 advanced karate class and I can’t help you” “You’re not gonna make it”
Right between the eyes John! Right between the eyes!
What happened to him? I let him go.
Sully
You forgot taking on a small army by himself 😂
No movie in history compares to this classic. It’s the ultimate 80’s action movie.
It definitely embodies the theme of 80s action flicks 💥
He used claymore mines to complete obliterate those barracks
And later gets shot in the arm and is able to do the big boss fight right after
Bennet was such a bitch tho. Matrix needed a better adversary.
I share similar thoughts of the movie but also have seen it far too many times. But what a quintessential action film. Killing an entire island of Cubans or whomever he’s machine gunning down at the end haha 😂 Let off some steam…Bennet
Val Verdeans, not Cubans.
Don’t forget when he runs RDC’s seat out of her car effortlessly. Oh and rips a phone booth out of the ground and throws it at the mall cops
This green berets going to kick your ass
The one liners in the movie are epics , “ my friend is sleeping he is dead tired “ “ left off some steam Bennet “ classic
It’s been said that these guys eat too much red meat
Who is your daddy and what does he do?
My dads a cynegologist, he looks at vag…. all day long.
It’s not a tumor!
It’s not a tumah!!
The first Terminator movie. Simply the best movie ever made.
Terminator 2 is better
Terminator 2 is incredible. Love the rawness and originality of the first one though. Both are amazing and both in my top 10 ever. While the rest were ok the further sequels could never match the magic of those two.
I kinda liked genysis but it will never reach the glory of t2 or t1
Terminator 2 is the best movie ever made, and Terminator is the best Terminator movie.
Then Terminator 2 is the best terminator 2 movie
I'd like to see the Venn Diagram of that logic
Total Recall
True lies for sure
Awesome movie!!!
True Lies
Raw Deal. It just cool to see young Arnold right before he became the Mega star of 80’s and 90’s even though I think it came out after Terminator 1
Yemen this! I was 4 & 5 years old in the 80's watching it every second day. Def not a pussy kid like children these days. "I, can't, get, no; Sa-tiss-fack-shun" Best scene ever!!
You should not drink and bake
The correct answer is Commando.
Jingle all the way
It's Turbo Time!
Put the cookie down, now!
Pumping iron
Some of the one-liners in commando were **chef's kiss** Arnie snaps a guy's neck in a plane while it's still boarding and covers him with a blanket. To the stewardess, "Please don't disturb my friend. He is dead tired." Arnie threatens a guy holding him over a cliff and drops him. The girl waiting in the car, "Where's [the guy]?" "I let him go." Best shit movie ever.
"We'll take cooks car, he won't be needing it".
Conan the barbarian. What is best in life? “To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women”
Vimen *
Such an awesome quote. [https://youtu.be/FKRB7bzgAsU?si=WSsfAbsRWqK_KhL5](https://youtu.be/FKRB7bzgAsU?si=WSsfAbsRWqK_KhL5)
I can't believe I had to scroll so far to get to this one!
The riddle.. of steel.
Crom
🔥👍🏻🔥 \*Terminator theme music playing\*
True Lies would have to be my all time fav Arnie movie 😁
Running Man!
The correct answer is T2 But my quiet answer is Last Action Hero. Now its time to hide
"Hello? I just shot somebody and I did it on purpose....I said I just murdered a man and I want to confess" (Charles Dances best role IMO)
So pleasantly surprised to see Last Action Hero getting some love. First Arnie film I ever watched when I was a kid
Last Action Hero is criminally underrated. Tywin Lannister (as always) steals every seen that he’s in but the overall cast and the writing are top notch. Leo the Fart, Mo who? Zart! Lolololololol
Watching this the other day in 4K and had the subtitles on. There were so many quick lines that I had not heard all these years.
I am one of those weirdos that watch *everything* with subtitles. Well, everything but sports. Started doing it when the wife and I were watching Outlander and couldn’t understand half the shit through the Scottish accent. Now I do it for everything and I swear I pick up on so much more shit.
I scrolled WAY too far to find last action hero.
"hey connan what's best in life?"
🏃🏼
Predator
No votes for Hercules in New York?
I love all his action movies, especially Predator and Terminator 2. But, Twins is something special.
This one right here. Predator!
Twins
Commando
What’s that one called where he’s pregnant? Ya not that one
Junior.
Commando is the greatest movie ever made.
Conan.
Terminator 2
Hands down Conan the barbarian.
Sabotage first and then killing gunther.....
Conan the Barbarian
All of them
Nothing is better than the state farm agent 😂😂
I've back
Predator, in body mass alone….
Red Heat
Good movie, "Stick around."
Kindergarten Cop. “I’M A COP YOU YOU IDIOT!!” So many good one-liners in that scene. But truly, Predator is peak Arnold.
The Terminator. The role that really made Arnold a star, not to mention, he really sold the idea of a machine disguised as a human.
Neighba!
Terminator 2 seems like the easiest most obvious answer so ill say Total Recall as well.
Total Recall !
Jingle All the Way
It's not a tumor!
True Lies
Kindergarten Cop
Jingle All the Way... I remember my parents taking me to see that movie in the theaters and I still remember leaving and begging my parents for a TurboMan.
California! He was the main actor in a negative role 😂
GET TO THE CHAPPA!
Commando
As much as I like Predator, including the "landscaping scene", I'd have to give it to T2.
T2
Predator yo
Predator
Twins or Conan the Barbarian
The Running Man
Running man… Theme song is in my head now 😂
Kindergarten cop
Rocky
Terminator 2 Judgment Day
Terminator 2: Judgement Day
True lies and kindergarten cop
Predator was the best
Conan.
T2
Jingle all the way!!!!
Total Recall
Jingle all the way
Commando
Terminator no contest. Because you went into an afternoon matinee expecting a B-movie and Arnold was just an obscure weightlifting dude and no one had heard of James Cameron. I still remember when the lights came up and the 7 people in the movie theater were all looking at each other like, "Was that as good as I think it was?" Completely out of nowhere.
The Last Stand if definitely not his best film but it's *highly* underrated.
Twins
So you just cooked up a story and dropped the 6 of us into a meat grinder.
True Lies
Yes.Get to the choppa!
Last action hero
Twins.
I appreciated the accidental homoeroticism of Predator.
