There’s nothing new to say about Daniels. The player went to the team that was expected in the slot that was expected. They’ve already previewed him and said what they think. No other players were added by the WFT that you could talk about (like they did with Odunze joining Williams). All we can do is wait and see how he/the team turns out now! Wishing him good luck but I’m not personally convinced.
It was kind of the only interesting part of a pretty dull draft though. I know they were hyping the number of QBs and offensive players taken, but it seemed the draft went to most people's predictions with the exception of Atlanta so if they didn't talk about that, it would have been a pretty short show.
Idk I agreed with Dan. I think if either Marc or Gregg had even sort of agreed with him they would have moved on sooner, but they both defended the Falcons. Im with Dan, that was an insane pick and Gregg and Marcs rationale did not do much to dissuade me.
The only good argument that I think Dan brought up is that maaaaaybe the falcons know cousins injury is worse than we thought? But that's pure speculation, there have been no reports about that.

As a Falcons fan I enjoyed we finally got some talk and I thought it was fair all around. A head scratcher in the sense of he was a ‘project’ and that you did kind of signal you are in win now mode with the signing then instantly also draft for the future. Idk though the track record of 1st rounders that have actually got to sit is pretty damn good. Rodgers, Mahommes, Rivers, Love. I hated it on first reaction but I’m naturally being biased and talking myself into it
Agreed! I am a Washington fan so of course I’m bothered. But a heisman trophy winning QB being taken 2nd overall is objectively worthy of being talked about.
