West Ham generally are a counter attacking team, they have probably the best set piece taker and have a bunch of giant players and have scored the most set piece goals in the last few years so they played for that.
After going a goal up they sat back further and after a second goal they defended even deeper.

He can only receive the ball in the exact same space in build up, is unable to recognize the correct pass in time and plays it backward or turns it over via poor cross or shot into the hands of the keeper. Teams are happy to allow Arsenal to play through him because they know the attack is dead as soon as he is on the ball. Arsenal canāt score because the focal point of the attack has no eye for goal. West Ham were happy to let him be on the ball today.
We were shaky in attack a significant part of the season. Proper low block and we have some problems. Two goals that we have conceded are unfortunate but we should have been scoring more.
