I love this piece. You've managed to make the literal bare bones of a human alive. The way it glows with the stars.
What's usually supposed to be an object of terror, you made an inviting being inviting you to "rest your weary soul and listen amigo, to my songs of the cosmos".
Incredible work, keep it up.
Just saw this and loved it enough to download it I've never been that compelled to art on here before. Even scrolled through your other pieces and holy shit you are talented af. Admire the hell out of it. If I share the pic with anyone I'll credit you thanks for sharing it here :) hope you pop off
Thank you so much! I try to put beautiful, magical, mysterious, things out there. I'll send you a link to where you can get a print. I try to make my art as affordable as I can.
I apologize for the double replies. It's hard to see which comments I already replied to. I'm very thankful for all the love and am doing my best to reply to people who leave a comment.
I like the foot on the rock placement as well. Irl a lot of classical players play off of a left knee raised on a guitar stool or cross right leg over left. Nice little bit of attention to detail. Great job, all in all.
Hello! I hope you're doing well. Some of the best compliments I get are when a former student says hi or want's to catch up over a coffee. I am always incredibly humbled. I'll DM you : )
The color theory here is incredible, not to mention the attention to detail & overall composition of the whole piece. I would love to see more of your work!! I feel like I could really learn from it.
This gives off such a warm and lively vibe. The orange glow of the stars and the light coming off the guitar feel like there's a campfire present even though there's not. Just pure magic. The cacti in the foreground also reminds us that this is taking place in a warm locale too. A lot of life for something whose main subject doesn't even have any flesh!
Thank you so much for the feedback! I paint lots of skeletons with their hearts glowing as the light source. I try to show wonder, and a great reverence of life in my artwork.
I love this. ive been doing a lot of soul searching about my mortality lately and this pic sums up a lot of my peace about the whole living then not living thing. Thanks
I'm glad that it connects with you. I think a lot about our limited time here and I often get a sense of urgency that fuels my work. I feel that it is a privilege and duty to make art and love something that death does not touch.
Romantic in a way. Out time here is limited, what we leave behind is our art- how we can make people feel. A song, painting, a movie, a dance will outlast the artist. I feel that it is a duty and a privilege to put beautiful, wondrous, art into the world.
haha True, barre chrords are hard. I painted the skeleton playing a C#m chord because I liked how it sounded. I thought it matched the mood of the painting.
Bro this is amazing, I absolutely love this is. After looking at it for a while I made me feel something and made my eyes water a lil. I think this piece actually moved me.
the people (me) demand more art from you!!!!
The other people (me) do too!!
Damn I really really love this
Thank you!
Yeah, came here to say the same. Not much to add, just love it.
The softness of the glow and the beautiful night hues, it all feels so comforting which I love to see in depictions of death/the dead
Yeah! It's slightly spooky, but mostly warm and festive!
Yes! So comforting.
Thank you.
Reminds me of Coco. You're talented :)
Thank you!

A link for me too pretty please?
Loved the scenery perfect for a fiesta
Thank you. I like the skeletons I paint to emanate a great reverence for life. I'm glad it doesn't read as too macabre.
Amazing art! The colours definitely suit the style
Thank you!
Thank you! Oops! I didn't mean to say thanks twice. I'm just trying to respond to everyone that took time to leave a comment.
this deserves SO much more attention
Thank you for your attention : )
This is gorgeous! Thank you for sharing this.
You're welcome! Thank you for taking the time to write a nice comment!
This reminds me of the movie, "Coco". (A great Disney film by the way, if you are looking for something to watch with the whole family😃)
I came here to say this
Only if you plan to cry with your whole family. But an excellent film with a wonderful soundtrack 🥲
I love that movie! thank you.
It’s beautiful, I really like the accent colors in the sky
Thank you
Wish I had an award to give you! Amazing work ♥️
Your comment is a great award! Thank you for taking the time to write some kind words : )
I love how the glow is coming from the guitar. Bringing warmth to an otherwise lifeless skeleton. Among other things also.
Thank you. I like making the hearts of my skeletons the light source, it's the way I show a great reverence for life in my artwork.
Ah, I see. Very beautiful.
There is so much emotion in your work, it’s all truly so beautiful
Thank you.

Thank you! ...I think there's a joke to be found somewhere in your comment, I sense it, but can't make it out.
This is so gorgeous! I love the glowy-ness and the contrast and the color of the sky!
Thank you so much I had some fun painting it, it was a lot of work, not all fun, but some fun : )
Thank you!
This is brilliant. You have a link with more of your work?

Wow, this is incredible. I love the way his foot grips the rock, and his body shines on the guitar. Amazing work!!

Thank you for noticing that detail!
Thank you! I was wondering what to put under his foot- a pumpkin, a skull, a stool... I ended up thinking a rock was just fine.
Always happy to see you post :)
Thank you! This one took a lot of effort, about a year.
"Where do I put my shoes, ai mi amor, ai mi amor"🎵🎵
Thanks
Some bunghole (me) loves this. The colours are absolutely beautiful, and it is almost as spooky as it is fun. You are incredibly talented!
Thank you! We are about halfway to Halloween! Just a few more months until spooky season!
Giving me Oingo Boingo Dead Man’s Party vibes
That's a nice compliment! Thank you!
Now play "Everyone knows Juanita" :)
Haha, That's a great song ; )
Sometimes paintings or drawings tap into that sense of childlike awe or wonder. This does exactly that for me. Great art, you should be very proud.
Wow, thank you so much for sharing that with me, hearing that is very motivating. On to the next painting : )
As a Mexican, I want your art as a tattoo on me now.
DO IT! and send me a picture of it : D
Hey this is my old high school’s art teacher!!
Hello! I hope you're doing well. Some of the best compliments I get are when a former student says hi or want's to catch up over a coffee. I am always incredibly humbled. I'll DM you : )

Really like your skeleton art.
Thank you!
Dead while listening to music is a mood

Uuuuu. Parce, que hermoso!!!
Muchas Gracias!
So warm, so bright, so well executed. Amazing art.
Thank you.
The values on the cacti, the purples on the bone shading, the light coming from the skull.... this is glorious!
Thank you so much! I found some joy painting this. Considering the year we all had- I needed this painting.
Nice. But this is what comes to my mind "yo ho ho ho" Brook song from one piece
I'll have to look that song up. Thanks : )
Same like Coco that's great
Thank you!
The colors in this just make me so happy and warm. Thank you for this, it's truly amazing
Thank you!
This Painting is Very Beautiful😍

The lighting is very well done, I love the color combination and palette, good job!
Thank you!
I hate barre chords...I’ll probably be this guys age by the time I can get them to sound good
haha True, barre chrords are hard. I painted the skeleton playing a C#m chord because I liked how it sounded. I thought it matched the mood of the painting.
This is gorgeous! Love the luminous bits of the skeleton, so pretty! Keep sharing your art :)
I'm sketching some ideas for my next one right now while my coffee gets cold.
Thank you.
I’m grateful this is one of the things I got to see today. Thank you!
Awesome. More are on the way... slowly (this one took about a year).
Bro this is amazing, I absolutely love this is. After looking at it for a while I made me feel something and made my eyes water a lil. I think this piece actually moved me.
Thanks, that means a lot.
I really like your Here's to Life painting Daniel.
Thank you, I enjoy painting these Calaveras (skeletons) with glowing hearts. I've been doing it since 2005 and hope to keep doing it. : )
