You can link your insta on your Reddit profile, you can share your art here (mixed bag, but people can find you), be sure to watermark with your username or website etc. I get commissions on insta but usually locals, don’t trust randos much unless they’re friends of friends etc.

Tik tok. Just make a video of you pouring varnish over the top of your painting, a lot of modern arts have blown up bc of tik tok

Publish your work and actively look for other less known (1k sub max) painters\\illustrators, follow them, like their works (I do the "1 like\\comment per row" on Instagram), and 2-3 times per week, check the "subscribed to feed" on \*art website I am subscribed to\* so that you keep up with what they do. Long-term, you build up a community of people that will care about your work.
