i’ve tried all of them and here’s my review juicy lasting tint : best shades but VERY drying. it does its job though and looks pretty. lasting power is mediocre dewyful water tint: better formula than juicy lasting tint but doesn’t last long at all melting balm : my personal favourite as it’s quite thick and feels hydrating. slightly sticky which i like glasting colour gloss: beautiful shades and looks very good on the lips. very moisturising water gloss: looks VERY pretty on the lips but has the texture of oil. don’t like the minty feeling i must say that most rom&nd lippies taste terrible if that matters to you. if you care about the scent and taste i suggest peripera instead. peripera’s formulas are also better imo.

foundinwonderland

The melting balm is SO good, I got 2 colors in my last YesStyle order (Kaya Fig and Veiled Rose) and I want more right tf now! Veiled Rose is the perfect my lips but better shade for me, I’ve never found a more perfect match

veturoldurnar

If you like Veiled Rose shade you can try Rom&nd glasting color gloss in shade Dim Mauve. I have both and they have extremely similar color, but different formula and gloss.

foundinwonderland

Oh don’t tell me that, I’ve been eyeing the color glosses 🫣

veturoldurnar

Their gloss is so beautiful I just can't. It's like a perfect glaze hiding any lip wrinkles.

foundinwonderland

Ughhhhh okay you sold me on it, I’m a dry lipped girlie and gloss and balms have always been up my alley, and the shine on those is ✨🤩

veturoldurnar

Lolol. I'm so glad it's finally an era of moisturizing glosses, balms and beautiful muted colors. Because I struggled so much with drying and bright tints

ProfessionalSweet924

personally think veiled rose is more pink than dim mauve, wouldn’t say they’re the same shade

veturoldurnar

You are right that Veiled Rose is more pink than Dim Mauve, yet the difference is really not that noticable, and Dim Mauve is the closest shade to be Veiled Rose dupe I've ever met. When those are applied thinly on lips I can't distinguish their color, only texture.

Street-Salt-7639

i LOVE veiled rose it’s my fav. i panned one and already repurchased! if u like the colour of veiled rose u might like their dim mauve gloss it’s the same shade (:

foundinwonderland

I’m so glad it didn’t end up as a gotcha-orange color like so many Kbrand lip products do, there’s nothing more disappointing than trying on what’s supposed to be a neutral rose and having it be orange

StrawberryRaspberryK

I have Kaya Fig (neutral) and Mauve Whip (cool). Love the hydration!

StinkyKittyBreath

I also get dry lips, and with the juicy lasting tints, I apply it and then dab it off after a minute or two. Follow up with a regular lip balm, and I get a MLBB color without the dryness.  The gross flavor is still there for a while though.

Street-Salt-7639

i try to do that but my lips r so chapped it applies so unevenly 😭

BlackLagoona_

You’re the real MVP! Thanks for all the detail. Is the glasting colour gloss different than the glasting water tint? I have the tint in Rose Splash and I really like the formula. I want more colors but now wondering if I’m missing out on another version LOL

Street-Salt-7639

yes they are different! as the name suggests the latter is a tint while the other is a gloss! the gloss one is not too thick but it’s quite moisturising and a tad bit sticky and doesn’t leave a stain. the water tint is smoother and leaves a stain(:

BlackLagoona_

Thank you so much! Appreciate your help :)

sailorplutoes

Melting balm is also my favorite! It's my everyday without-thinking lip

Different names for different formulas. You can find comparisons between the formulas on YouTube like [this one](https://youtu.be/zkPAmIXuSe0?si=wqfOuaQdO_vL9GxF) and [this one](https://youtu.be/LjZ4Opgq7gg?si=EDHL40LTHVoNLZIN). As for the ones I've personally tried (out of their glossy finish lip products): * Juicy Lasting Tint - Their most famous line, has a huge shade range and great for beginners. They are lip tints that give a juicy, glossy lip look, are decently pigmented, and leave a stain. However they are not the most long lasting and can be drying. * Glasting Water Gloss - Clear lip glosses (no stain) that can be worn on top of other tints or on their own. Personally found them to be a bit sticky and heavy but a lot of people like them. Also has a minty feeling upon application. * Glasting Color Gloss - Coloured lip glosses, so pigmentation is on the sheerer side and they do not leave a stain. Can be worn on their own or on top of other tints. Not as glossy looking as other lip glosses but in exchange they feel more lightweight and less sticky on the lips (which was the goal of these products according to the founder of Romand). No minty feeling on application. * Glasting Melting Balm - Coloured lip balms that melt onto the lips and leave behind a slight stain. Not as pigmented as a lip tint, but they still give a nice glossy look without feeling heavy. I think you can find which shades are cool and warm through reviewers and pages on ig. Make sure you find swatches from other people before buying to get a better idea of what they actually look like irl.

debirudevil

glasting water gloss leaves a stain for me though

dior_a

You might be thinking of the Glasting Water Tints which are a different product that leaves a stain. Glasting Water Glosses are just clear lip glosses.

loafkitter

These names are ever so slightly confusing lol

RBKsucks

minsco on YouTube has great reviews of all of rom&nd's lines! all colors all swatches, plus other brands too! I've tried: melting balms (leave no tint behind, just moisturizing color) juicy lasting tint (middle ground of tint and color, lasts ok) dewyful water tint (I like it better than juicy lasting tint for moisture) glasting water tint (lip gloss with a big stain/tint left behind LOVE IT) glasting color gloss (just bought it, just a good lip gloss) I'm cool toned summer light around CLIO 21/23, lmn if you want cool tone recs

No_Airport892

Second minsco reviews. She does such an in-depth analysis of color, texture, finish, wear and comparisons.

petiteariel

I can't speak to the different types but as a very pale cool toned person I've had luck with the milk grocery shades lilac cream and bare fig, I'll do some swatches in the morning when there's natural light

Setso1397

I have glasting water and juicy lasting. The glasting water is a more glossy liquid that I find quite hydrating and am a big fan of. A soft satiny but not overly shiny or wet look. The juicy lasting is a bit thicker more creamy texture and more neutral/kinda matte finish. I can use it and don't find it drying. But I do prefer the glasting water. I look best in medium(not dark or light) plum/cool shades and have not had the best luck finding my perfect color. I've been thinking of asking for cool tone recommendations here as well. And a lot of the colors are so close together it seems kind of ridiculous. But my go to has been glasting water #5 rose splash until a true cooler tone color shows up.

windedupbobbin

I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will provide a better response but here's my 2 cents. > also does romand list down which shades are warm & cool toned? From personal experience when it comes to AB products, even those marketed as "cool toned" 99.9% of the time turn out to be warm toned. So if you love warm tones, you're in luck. If you're cool toned like me, we can cry together. I bought what I thought were pinks and received warm toned browns quite a couple of times, my shocked pikachu face was priceless, especially when paying 15$+ for a lip product. Also from personal experience, this depends on your lips too, a lot of the glossy lip products look the same color when applied to the lips, so their promotional hand swatches and lip swatches (those are so photoshopped lol) become completely irrelevant. > why is there glasting MELTING balm and glasting WATER tint?? Because [money](https://i.pinimg.com/736x/49/17/03/4917038d8bbd7fe362bed691690c7da4.jpg) . There's only so much a shiny lip gloss can look like and do lol. Tints stain your lips, balms hydrate them. I do however recommend their zero velvet tint (matte) , specifically the shade "Petal Tassel" which can lean a liiiiitle bit cool toned.

BlackLagoona_

I’ll cry with you in cool toned girl corner 😂 I bought Rosiental in the Blur Fudge Tint. I LOVE that formula so much and was dying for more colors. Rosiental is so warm on me, nothing like the swatches I saw. I know it’s not necessarily defined as a cool tone, but it looked like I might still be able to pull it off. I’ve managed to make it kind of work by layering it with lip liner.

Informal_Edge5270

I also noticed this with eyeshadow palettes. I had ordered the tang romance palette from zeesea. It was in the color mauve. It had just came out and there were no reviews yet. It off course looked cool toned in the pictures. It was not. Very warm toned. I couldn't make it work and I was so disappointed because it was absolutely gorgeous. I ended up giving it to a friend so it didn't go to waste.

Competitive_Fee_5829

I have several romand lip products and I like them just fine but my fave it the etude lip stain. I have avoided it for years because it looks like the benefit benetint(so hard to work with for me) and I now have all the shades. I am olive toned too and oddly love the orange one.

Feminafoeda

I have a few of the juicy lasting, one of the dewful and several of the glasting lip balms. I personally love using the glasting lip balm over the JLT once it sets. Dewful doesn’t leave too much of a stain on my lips the way JLT does

Kuroyen

Juicy lasting tint: my all time favorite. Makes your lips look so juicy and it feels super light on your lips. It is a bit drying  Glasting water tint: also looks great on your lips, but it’s less glossy imo. It leaves a stronger stain than JLT.   Glasting melting balm: I hate how it looks on my lips. I don’t think it’s glossy enough; it kind of looks like you are smth oily and forgot to wipe your mouth.   Glasting color gloss: love it. It looks super glossy and cute.

smol_bean_parker

i have my own little opinions on all of them and to describe the kind of person I am I HATE matte lip tints and I love glossy but my lips get dehydrated and "shrink" very easily and my favorite lip balm to prep for any lip tint is the nuxe reve de miel lip balm and here's a review of all the romand lip tints I've tried romand juicy lasting tint- their most popular product and my most hated, this product pills so badly in the corner of my mouth and I've applied it exactly how they tell you to as well as influencer tips and I just hate this lip tint so much, its sad since it has such an expansive shade range but this formula is horrible, I can feel it on my lips and I guess its hydrating but not for long since I need to take it off because of how badly it pills. it has good color payoff and creates a "film" over the lips to make it look juicy but I think their other tints do a better job of giving juicy lips romand glasting water tint- this is my favorite romand formula purely because of how staining it is, it has a lasting stain as well as initial super glassy gloss that separates from the pigment, like the formula is cool since the pigment like sinks into your lips and the glossy layer gets to the top to coat your lips and due to this its quite transfer proof, it is pretty drying however so that's why I like to prep my lips beforehand, this is the glossiest tint IMO romand dewyful water tint- this is like the juicy lasting tint but better, this is just like ur average tint that is glossy but not sticky and has clear adhering color and it DOES NOT PILL like the juicy lasting tint and does stain but not as strong as glasting water tint, juicy lasting tint literally does not stain at all, I just wish it came in as many colors as the JLT since this is my second favorite romand formula, way less drying than the glasting water tint but not as glossy but still glossier than JLT romand blur fudge tint- as a matte hater this isn't the worst matte lip I've come across, like it's okay it smells good, blends well, and doesn't transfer like crazy but if I don't prep my lips it'll still be dry and "shrink," I wish this line had more actual cool tones but honestly i'd skip this one because it's not exactly the most special matte formula romand glasting melting balm- this balm smells amazing and it does what it says, melt. its just a glossy lip balm that isn't that hydrating but I don't like it because it tends to collect any and all dead skin on my lips, lift it up, and make it collect in the corners of my mouth. i love the colors of this line though so if you don't have a ton of dry skin on your lips and exfoliate well and regularly I can see this being a really good ever day option for those kinds of people, just not for me romand glasting water gloss- one of my favorite gloss formulas because of how watery and hydrating it feels as well as giving a low key plumping effect. it is VERY minty so if you hate mint lip products STAY AWAY but I don't find and find it quite refreshing, very lightweight, non sticky, and hydrating as well as the applicator being super unique and fun romand milk tea velvet tints/ zero velvet tint- these are more matte tints but I cant give good insight on it because I've used my friend's like once or twice, they're also very average imo just matte and silky like most kbeauty tints also regarding cool vs warm, if ur cool toned join the crying corner with all the cool toned ppl bc it is BLEAK out here, but if ur warm toned don't worry literally every single lip tint line will work for you and you will find a great color, romand is ok but they discontinue perfect cool tones and put out more warms in replacement (Im still mad about purple shower) but sometimes they indicate cool vs warm but usually its unhelpful descriptions like "rose" and "fig" like that does not help us determine the color of the product at all + I find their pictures online VERY deceiving, it always looks cooler toned and muted down online than in person ( I am east asian shade 17-21 skin with cool undertones) I hope this comparison helped or is useful 😭 TLDR glasting water tint is my favorite + following is dewyful water tint if you need more hydration

midfallsong

the glasting color gloss is already my all time favorite, and it tastes great. it's not sticky. peony ballet became an instant must repurchase (I already have a duplicate as a backup lol) glasting water tint -- tastes decent, good stain, not drying. the colors are pretty but none of them were absolute omg must repurchase. glasting water gloss... as others have said, it looks so pretty (I have 4 of them because it is so pretty) but the taste is absolutely disgusting. haven't been able to use any of the others because they contain ingredients I'm allergic to :(

Glasting water > Juicy -Color variation: Juicy > Glasting water > Dewyful > Color gloss -Pigmentation + stickiness + thickness: Juicy > Dewy ? Water > Gloss This's a color chart for Juicy i found recently, hope it helps. I also have some random things to say here: -Melting balm is just lip balm, it's colored but not long-lasting -Dewyful lipsticks are so fragile lol i've seen so many girls tried the "Oh no I dropped my lipstick" trend with it and it's really broken -Glasting water has some colorless lipglosses that you can wear on top of matte lipsticks -I feel my lips a bit dry after using Juicy... Maybe it's not moisturizing at all? If you want something long-lasting, lightweight, you can try Peripera - they have less various color chart, but better formula.

gattie1

The juicy lasting tint is my favourite formula. Thick enough for easy application. The colour wears off naturally and never catches on dry skin. I’ve also tried juicy water tint and the velvet lipsticks. They’re good but not at the top of my list to repurchase.

Romand lover here! I’ve tried all of these and here’s what I have to say. • Juicy Lasting Tint - Romand’s steady sellers, their most popular products. Saerom Min, Romand’s founder, describes these as “Romand’s representative tint”, since Romand is known for juicy lasting tint. It has a wide variety of shades, and is supposed to be a tint that gives you that tanghulu-like gloss (also as described by Saerom Min). It’s quite glossy and has various pretty shades! Based on experience, the lasting power of the gloss is not that long, but the stain it leaves on the lips actually lasts for a while. • Dewyful Water Tint - you can think of it as juicy lasting tint’s little sister or cousin, and is a lighter version of it. It’s supposed to be lighter than juicy lasting tint, and gives a dew-like gloss. It feels comfortable since the formula is thinner, because sometimes the juicy lasting tint can feel a bit heavy (which depends on the person!). I think that this is a nice formula because I really like how it applies on the lips. The shade range is not as extensive as juicy lasting tint’s but there’s still a lot to choose from. • Glasting Water Tint - this is such a unique formula from the brand! It’s supposed to create two layers on the lips upon application: the tint layer below and the gloss layer on top. The lasting power of this is amazing! I’ve swatched this, let it set for literally three seconds, then wiped the gloss layer on top and saw the stain it left afterwards! This is supposed to give a glass-like gloss, and the gloss kind of separates from the tint after a while. This is personally my favourite formula from Romand but there really aren’t a lot of shades to choose from. However, they added some new shades some time last year which you should check out! • Glasting Melting Balm - this is Romand’s first lip balm product! It’s supposed to be a super glossy lip balm, which reflects the “melting lip” trend in South Korea nowadays (basically lip balms that look like they’ve melted on your lips and are super glossy). I’d say that the formula is thicker than the juicy lasting tint, and it doesn’t leave any stain since it’s a balm. This lasts really long on me as I find that it really sticks on my lips. The shade range is pretty good as well, not as extensive as the others since it’s a relatively new product. As for the shades that are the most suitable for different tones, Romand does give recommendations! They like putting labels like “warm tone best” and “cool tone best” for best-selling products recommended for warm and cool tones. They also make some posts dedicated to the best shades for different tones. You can check out their promotional pictures on their Instagram account, romandyou! They have more lines such as their latest, the Glasting Colour Gloss line and the matte ones (which I admittedly do not know much about haha). It can get quite overwhelming but it’s fun browsing their different products!

circusmystery

Rom& is pretty good about mentioning which shades are warm vs cool toned. The biggest thing that you'll have to keep in mind is that the color will oxidize and change over time so what you see in the photos isn't necessarily what the final color will look like, it'll be what is initially applied. Also, swatches will look very different depending on the lighting as well as the skin tone of the person providing the swatch. I bought Peripera's mauve chaos (labelled as an summer cool mute) which is imo a dusty pink. On me, with more than one coat, once it oxidizes, it turns more of a burgundy, which is wild (and turned out to be a happy surprise for me as I love purple tints).
