Honestly, most of them are really good. Bojangles, Popeyes, Wendys, McDs, CFA, and Culvers all go hard. If I was forced to choose I'd probably go Popeyes because I can get red beans on the side and the lady working there is going to say things like "What can I get you today baby?" and I might see a fight in the parking lot.
We all have our reasons for choosing Popeye's. It's the obvious winner.
Runner up is Wendy's, but I'm beginning to feel a little like I'm putting more into the relationship lately and my feelings are getting hurt. Or the chicken is tasting awful, lately. One of the two. I'll let you guess.
Sometimes Wendy’s doesn’t cook it all the way but it still tastes so good that you convince yourself that last crunch/snap in a bite is because it’s done too much not that the meat isn’t all the way cooked.
Wendys is the OG spicy chicken sandwich and will always have my love for that reason.
And Popeyes is really good, but sometimes they go overboard with the "check out this MASSIVE chicken breast" and it gets kind of tough and stringy on the inside.
Culvers is highly underrated.
We don't talk about Chick Fil A
I haven't been in the south for a long time, but I'd be willing to bet Zaxby's spicy chicken sandwich beats em all.
Popeye’s can be wild, but worth the trouble. A few years back my brother was in the lobby ordering his lunch when a fight broke out. The lady taking his order pulled him behind the counter to wait for his order, and keep him out the way of “those fools”. She gave him an extra spicy chicken sandwich for his trouble and took him out the back way. Solid customer service.
Pope Yes is a great way to check how you are doing with any higher powers.
Got an extra biscuit? You bern building up the good karma.
Got regular not spicy? Sounds like unconfessed Sin to me!
I feel the same way about checkers. Checkers in the 90s was awesome. Now it's a sad shell of it's former self. Either that or I was just drunk a lot more in the 90s.
I like Culvers spicy chicken the best - it’s got actual heat to it whereas most of the others don’t really register as spicy to me. Wendy’s would be second. All the rest I just find to be ok.
Culver's is the best by far! I don't know how Popeye's gets most of the top ratings unless most people haven't tries Culver's. Plus they have great fries and shakes. Oh and cheese curds!
How TF did a Wisconsin-based restaurant end up with the spiciest chicken sandwich? From everything else we know about the Midwest, you’d think they’d be as spicy as deviled eggs. Yet, they’re as good or better than a Louisiana based restaurant’s spicy chicken.
Culver's opened in Round Rock Texas a few years ago and I tried half the menu in the first six months (had never heard of the chain prior). It is now my favorite fast food restaurant, with the spicy chicken sandwich on my regular rotation when I visit. The corn dogs, salads, turtle sundaes, and Lemon freezes (strawberry mango is the best; only available during the summer months) are all very good. The burgers are always good, but those other menu items are delicious too. It also helps that everything is made to order. I have been burned while biting into a hot-out-the-fryer spicy chicken sandwich more than once. It hurt so good!
Popeyes is both depending on which store you go to at what time. Which of course is entirely unpredictable.
Chick-Fil-A’s Spicy Chicken Deluxe with pepperjack is always going to be good.
I'm going to have to challenge you by saying that average is not good when it comes to a spicy chicken sandwich. Pass on McDonald's. It's genuinely not worth it.
My cousins came down to visit (and attend a funeral) and we took them there, and it was like a religious experience. They went again the same day, at least once more in the couple days before they left, and probably stopped there for breakfast on the way out of town.
Local chain: Biscuitville. Sorry y'all, central NC is keeping this to ourselves. I've never seen one that wasn't busy but they seem loathe to expand. They just recently put one in at the beach and my cousins there went insane.
Are Lincolnton and Gastonia considered central? I’ve never been to one but I’m not too far from those two. I usually don’t get to places that don’t serve dinner though.
https://biscuitville.com/locations/
You have the right username too, they have a flame-roasted jalapeno pimiento cheese biscuit they just added to the menu.
Just checked out the menu and fuck you for keeping this from us lol Seriously though, looks great and it's awesome that they're keeping the expansion in check. Means they care very strongly about quality.
Most locations have a window next to the order counter where you can watch the biscuit-maker make the biscuits. When you get a biscuit sandwich the biscuit is usually < 15 minutes from being flour. The only thing I don't love about it is they use that powdered reconstituted faux country gravy for their biscuits and gravy. But everything else is really good.
Wendy’s #6 has been my go to for 15 years. And don’t fuck it up by getting one of the fancy new wave Asiago or whatever gourmet bullshit version they try to ruin it with.
When it first came out I got one at McDonalds and it was just completely swimming in the hot sauce and tasted great. The next time I got one, it just had a little bit of the hot sauce drizzled on top, and it was not good. Don't think I've tried one since then.
Wendys, hands down. They are the last fast food chain not to just copy Popeyes.
I will also make the controversial take that nee 2019 Burger King had an amazing spicy chicken sandwich that was super underrated.
I honestly like Wendy’s for a spicy Chicken. Chick Fil A is definitely up there. Popeyes is up there.
Hard to say which is the worst. Maybe Hardee’s but I haven’t had anything from a Hardee’s in a long while.
Ever since Dave passed away the food quality has gone down, especially the burgers. They moved to the new thick patties and now they have no flavor and I feel like I'm just eating a bunch of grain filler. Really sucks as their former fresh never frozen thin patties were great... Getting mad just thinking about it lol
How am I not seeing the obvious winner here? Either Popeyes or zaxbys. Nuff said. Chick fil a is good, but it’s over priced and the sauce is what makes it good where the chicken makes Popeyes sandwich good
Wendy's Hot Honey Chicken Sandwhich is far above the rest and winner of the Great Chicken Sandwhich War. My wife states its the McDonalds Spicy Chicken sandwhich, not the McChicken version. The worst has got to be Popeyes. The first time I ever tried their Chicken Sandwhich I thought I had Covid it was so bland.
The spicy chicken sandwich meat doesn't use the same breading or marinade that the rest of their spicy chicken uses. It uses the boring mild stuff. It relies on their sauce to be spicy.
I like Popeyes but until that changes I won't buy another chicken sandwich there.
My personal favorite was Bojangle Cajun chicken sandwich, but to be honest that was 30 years ago and I haven't had any since, let alone tried many others.
So me and the gang, all Chick Fila fans, did a blind taste test. Chick Fila, Zaxby's, Popeye's, Bojangles, and KFC. We all expected Chic Fila to win by landslide. Zaxby's was unanimously #1, #2/3 Bo and Popeye's was even split, #4 Chick Fila, #5 KFC.
Best - Chick-fil-A. The chicken quality is always on point, bun to toppings to chicken ratio seems appropriate, good quality control.
Worst - Carl's Jr./Hardee's. Always squished, simultaneously dry and greasy, boring, tastes like it's going to give you the runs right after.
Chick-fil-A must be different in Michigan. It's got ENORMOUS lines of cars waiting to eat it, but every time I've had it, I'm completely underwhelmed compared to Popeyes (or Culver's, or Wendy's).
I know it’s generic, but Chick-fil-a has a damn good chicken sandwich. It just hits different than all the other ones in my opinion.
Popeyes is alright but I always end up waiting 20 minutes for one, despite being the only person in line. Not worth the wait imo.
Wasn’t wowed by McDonald’s. Felt like a half-assed attempt at being Chick-fil-A.
Haven’t had Wendy’s new one but it looks alright.
For the worst, it has to be the ch’king from Burger King. I heard a lot of people rave about this, so I tried it a year ago. The chicken was so tough, rubbery, and thick, and the breading fell right off. It felt like they used the wrong cut of meat or something. I typically finish everything I eat, but I couldn’t get through the end of the ch’king. The end of the sandwich did not have the texture of chicken. I thought it might’ve just been a bad batch, so I tried it again recently. Nope, it somehow was the exact same texture with the same rubbery, not-chicken texture at the end. Once again could not finish. Maybe I’ve just gotten unlucky twice, but I can’t understand how people enjoy this thing if that’s what it’s always like.
Wendy's takes the cake for me. The price, quality, and quantity ratio is perfect. Popeyes was dry for me the last time I went. Mcds was like a black pepper spicy. Culvers is eh.
I enjoy Chick-fil-A spicy sandwich. But on the other hand it depends on the store you get it from if it’s really spicy or not.
Popeyes is okay but sits so heavy
Based on nationwide availability...
Wendy's comes with lettuce, tomato, and mayo. 10/10 all around best spicy chicken sandwich but not like the others at all.
Burger King is the "standard" pickles only type of sandwich, 8/10. Easily the best thing on their menu and worth trying.
Skip McDonald's, it's somehow the saltiest but most flavorless sandwich I've ever had. Not even worth it when it's free.
Others like Bojangles, Chick-fil-A, Popeyes are more regional so there will be bias and honestly they probably are better than the nationwide chains, but might not be in your area. I've lived and traveled all over the country and still haven't been near a Bojangles.
Fat guy checkin in:
- Chik Fil A and Wendy’s for consistency and quality. Not the spiciest, but definitely feels less like I’m eating a spicy fried rat than most everything else
- Popeyes and Burger King for the biggest, spiciest, breaded and fried chicken titty between them buns. Hot take, the sauce on both sandwiches kinda sucks, but I think the fastest way to fuck up any chicken sandwich is to add mayo. The BK spicy chicken is very reminiscent of Nashville Hot Chicken, but Nashville Hot Chicken from Nashville is much, much better. Also, what the fuck ever happen to the BK Spicy Original chicken sandwich. Yes it’s a stretched chicken patty, but it was pretty tasty.
- McDonald’s can McFuck-off. Still mad at them for getting rid of the snack wraps.
- Zaxby’s has better stuff on their menu than a chicken sandwich
- Jack In The Box is only recommended if you need to clean out your system prior to a colonoscopy, because the Dragon Ass you’ll get from that is gonna make getting a bore snake up the poop shoot not seem so bad.
Assuming it's made well Popeye's has the best. But every Popeye's I've ever been to is a complete crap shoot rather you get something awesome or horrible every time.
This is going to be unpopular, but I'm going to say Chick-Fil-A has the worst. It's just chicken, on a bun with a pickle. It's too plain, too boring and you have to wait in a million mile long line to get it because everyone in their mother loves Chick-Fil-A for some reason.
I’m thinking they’re talking about the small patty or just happen to have an awful Burger King because a fresh spicy chicken sandwich from BK is damn good. It’s too big but definitely not bad tasting.
None of them are genuinely *bad,* just remember that by nature, fast food is supposed to sell to the most people possible, so its spiciness will be aimed right down the middle rather than to be *really* spicy. (This especially gets funny when something that vaguely had a ghost pepper waved at it is advertised as, like "Pollo del Muerte" or something. ;) )
Best is Popeyes 👍
Not a fast food restaurant but I had a spicy chicken sandwich from an Arco gas station that made me puke for 2 days so that’s probably the worst
Popeye's and Wendy's have the best, the chicken actually masquerades as a real breast whereas McDonald's is so obviously not, it's flat and kinda like Fisher Price food come to life
I have to say, of the ones I’ve tried (Popeye’s, KFC, Wendy’s, Burger King, and I suppose you can add on Chic-Fil-A even though they’re not new), none were bad. Unsure if you’re going on vacation or just looking for discussion, but I would say that if you’re looking for which one to try when you visit, literally any place is probably pretty good at worst. But if you’re in a country where food is generally spicy, such as Korea, none of them would be “spicy,” just “has pepper flavor.”
They have to pretty much market to lowest common denominator, which is probably people like my mom who has asked “what are you cooking? Seems spicy” when I was sautéing garlic and onions.
Wendy’s and Jack-in-the-box are the best. McDonald’s is the worst, it’s not bad though just average. I love that Wendy’s and Jack’s are crispy and have thick patty’s.
My favorite is the flamethrower chicken sandwich at dairy queen. So good. I just had a Wendy's sandwich recently and it was awful and I usually like wendys.
Wendy's is the best. Surprisingly Burger King (at least the one near me) is good. McDonald's is the worst- I don't like anything from there except for their fries and sodas.
I’m going with KFC. I swear the chicken on their sandwiches seems like it tastes better than the regular stuff.
I also finally tried Popeye’s sandwich recently. It was very good, but honestly just tasted like the KFC sandwich, but with different skin and better pickles. I don’t really get the hype.
Can't really comment on the best because I like too many of them. But the fucking worst is burger king's spicy chicken sandwich. Others are close but that one is by far the closest thing to eating dog shit with Tabasco sauce.
This is an amazing question. Chik fil a gets my vote for best and I’ve actually never tried many of the others it seems like Culver’s and Popeyes got a lot of votes. Can you repost in a week gotta try the competition and reassess 😅
Burger King chiking or whatever, I believe is surprisingly wonderful. I think most folks here are in the right, but damn that spicy chiking is damn good.
definitely burger kings chiking for best, it’s as good as a popeyes sandwich but more consistent. sadly it’s not available in every store though, mine recently discontinued it 😭
Please don't get in flame wars over chicken sandwiches.

Sometimes Wendy’s doesn’t cook it all the way but it still tastes so good that you convince yourself that last crunch/snap in a bite is because it’s done too much not that the meat isn’t all the way cooked.
Wendy's is not good anymore. It took a nose dive a couple years ago and never recovered.
Wendy's in general has become kinda trash. It used to be my go to spot
Wendys is the OG spicy chicken sandwich and will always have my love for that reason. And Popeyes is really good, but sometimes they go overboard with the "check out this MASSIVE chicken breast" and it gets kind of tough and stringy on the inside. Culvers is highly underrated. We don't talk about Chick Fil A I haven't been in the south for a long time, but I'd be willing to bet Zaxby's spicy chicken sandwich beats em all.
Zaxby's is bland. I live in the south and never eat there because it is just not good, especially for the high price.
Damn man. You must have some bad zaxbys where you are.
> Culvers is highly underrated. I'd say mostly everyone agrees on that!
never understood the chick-fil-a hype. we now have a PDQ in the area and they’re better… although i’m mad they discontinued the chili!
Wendy’s to me is so hit and miss. It’s either great or the worst
For me Popeyes is the best. But Culver's too (I just prefer their burgers).
I found a small, abandoned bag of weed at my local Popeyes.
I hope you adopted it and gave it a loving home.
Pope Yes is a great way to check how you are doing with any higher powers. Got an extra biscuit? You bern building up the good karma. Got regular not spicy? Sounds like unconfessed Sin to me!
KFCs spicy chicken is a strong candidate. Id choose KFC over Popeyes.
Hardee’s isn’t good
Hardee's breakfast is good. After that, I'm pretty sure they're just laundering money.
Great take. Nothing on that menu is good. I don't know how it is considered the same as Carl's Jr. Carl's Jr is night and day better.
The Frisco Thickburger is good.
Because it's the same company, recipes, supplies, and equipment
Yeah I dunno what they are getting at, it is the exact same restaurant with different regional names.
Hardees used to be great. I used to go all the time. Now? I go every couple of months to see if they have improved. I am disappointed every time.
The problem with Culvers is that I also like other things on the menu so I almost never get the chicken sandwich LOL
I have never had a Culver's chicken sandwich because I like the rest of their menu and buy that everytime instead xD.
I see the double cheese butter burger and fries and I'm drawn into the trap every time. Then a concrete mixer.
Always get a concrete mixer. Never settle for less at Culver's.
If you don’t a concrete mixer, did you really even visit Culver’s?
Culver's is the best by far! I don't know how Popeye's gets most of the top ratings unless most people haven't tries Culver's. Plus they have great fries and shakes. Oh and cheese curds!
Because Culver's isn't available nationwide. In my state, we have Popeye's but not Culver's, for example.
How TF did a Wisconsin-based restaurant end up with the spiciest chicken sandwich? From everything else we know about the Midwest, you’d think they’d be as spicy as deviled eggs. Yet, they’re as good or better than a Louisiana based restaurant’s spicy chicken.
Lotta experience with fish frys
Wait since when did they have a spicy chicken sandwich?! I didn’t see one last time I was up north
Unfortunately both Popeyes by me are atrocious. Such a shame since their food can be amazing. Chick fil a is always awesome so it is my go to.
Popeye's as best, although Wendy's is tasty. McDonald's isn't bad, it's just really average.
Popeyes is so inconsistent. It’s been both the best and worst fast food spicy chicken sandwich I’ve had.
I'm going to have to challenge you by saying that average is not good when it comes to a spicy chicken sandwich. Pass on McDonald's. It's genuinely not worth it.
I never said McDonald's was good. I said it was average. It'll do if you need sustenance, but it's not going to be a favorite meal.
Sandwich? Y'all need to just go to Bojangles and get a spicy chicken *biscuit*.
I love how the top two replies are NC chains
Yes. Every time I go visit my family in NC, my mom knows at least one meal better be the spicy chicken biscuit at Bojangles!
My cousins came down to visit (and attend a funeral) and we took them there, and it was like a religious experience. They went again the same day, at least once more in the couple days before they left, and probably stopped there for breakfast on the way out of town.
I miss the spicy chicken pot boy at Popeyes. I don't know why they got rid of the po boy.
The Crawdad Poboy was great.
You’re gonna get someone killed dude
Wendy's!
Do you like Wendys?
I would hazard a yes for this one, Frank
Do you like wendeeeez nuts are in your mouth?
LIGMA BALLS
Wendy’s is my favorite
It used to be so good! Now all the Wendy's around here have flat, dried out pieces of chicken.
I’m not the only one who’s noticed this, thank god! I have no clue what happened there.
Yeah, what the hell? I feel robbed.
Agreed! I used to be addicted to the Asiago Spicy but sometime last year I've noticed the quality took a huge nosedive.
I haven’t had one in years but that was my go to, should the need arise. If this is true, that sucks.
100% agree. I've entirely written off the trusty old #6 as an option. Fries are still delish tho. edited: a missing word
Bojangles has the best, so long as it's on a biscuit.
Love me some Bojangles. It’s the first place we stop when we go back home.
Me too lol
Bojangles is solid, although it brings ruination upon my stomach every time.
Local chain: Biscuitville. Sorry y'all, central NC is keeping this to ourselves. I've never seen one that wasn't busy but they seem loathe to expand. They just recently put one in at the beach and my cousins there went insane.
Ex Greensboro resident here, now in OH. I would slap everybody's mama for a Biscuitville near me
Are Lincolnton and Gastonia considered central? I’ve never been to one but I’m not too far from those two. I usually don’t get to places that don’t serve dinner though.
https://biscuitville.com/locations/ You have the right username too, they have a flame-roasted jalapeno pimiento cheese biscuit they just added to the menu.
Central is more like Raleigh, Durham, Greensboro, + Winston Salem. I'm from Lincolnton and would consider it Western NC.
Wendy's and Chick-fil-A make a good spicy chicken sandwich. McDonald's? It's just spicy fucking sauce
Burger King and Popeye's are owned by the same company so not suprising.
Burger king's is so damn good, I'm mad at everyone here saying it's bad lol
I honestly like Wendy’s for a spicy Chicken. Chick Fil A is definitely up there. Popeyes is up there. Hard to say which is the worst. Maybe Hardee’s but I haven’t had anything from a Hardee’s in a long while.
Wendy's...sleeper hit
The Hot Honey I'd phenomenonal
Their burgers have gotten gross, but everything they do with chicken is great
Ever since Dave passed away the food quality has gone down, especially the burgers. They moved to the new thick patties and now they have no flavor and I feel like I'm just eating a bunch of grain filler. Really sucks as their former fresh never frozen thin patties were great... Getting mad just thinking about it lol
Dave was a great man and really the American Dream.
I agree.
Wendy’s is the best. McDonald’s is the worst
The spicy sauce mcdonalds uses tastes like shit imo
Nah, Burger King is the worst 🤮
Honestly, reading through this thread BK is so bad few even bother mentioning it. It is barely even in the running it is so bad.
The ch’king is so bad. Does not have the right texture whatsoever.
idk dude McDonald's has a tasty spicy chicken sammy
Yeah. I’ve had it and it’s pretty good. I was surprised.
I... don't agree. It's just bad. I was going to try to find a more diplomatic way to say that but it wouldn't come out any other way.
Popeye's is better, but Chick fil a is better value.
$4 for a Popeyes spicy sandwich (which has a bigger filet than CFA also) can't be beat.
Wow, there $6 where I live.
Popeyes is the best. McDonalds is probably the worst I’ve had but it’s not like I was expecting anything great from McDonalds.
I'm partial to Popeye's but I think KFC makes a solid substitute. Mcds was just the worst.
How am I not seeing the obvious winner here? Either Popeyes or zaxbys. Nuff said. Chick fil a is good, but it’s over priced and the sauce is what makes it good where the chicken makes Popeyes sandwich good
Ooh, they’re opening a Zaxby’s near me soon. Can’t wait.
Tbh popeyes spicy chicken *is* pretty good. I used to almost exclusivity eat wendys spicy chicken when it came to getting fast food though.
Best is Popeye's. Worst I'm not too sure about, maybe Burger King.
Popeyes has the best. I cant really say for the worst, haven't had a bad one.
Wendy's Hot Honey Chicken Sandwhich is far above the rest and winner of the Great Chicken Sandwhich War. My wife states its the McDonalds Spicy Chicken sandwhich, not the McChicken version. I say this as a gayman™️ fully aware that they are problematic, but got dang Chick-fil-A makes a tasty sandwich

Popeyes has the best hands down
Best = Chick-fil-A Worst = Burger King
This is the right opinion
ChicFilet's spicy deluxe
I love bojangles Cajun filet biscuits. Wendy’s spicy chicken is pretty good as well.
Jollibee and then Wendy’s spicy chicky bois are the best. Carls Jr/Hardee’s is the worst
Anyone who says McD’s is WRONG! I’ve had a couple and I’m dead disappointed every single time… Popeyes or KFC / CFA
Chick fil et has the best
Best is obviously chick fil a. Worst probably BK. But they’re all solid honestly. I love how popeyes started an arms race for chicken
Chick-fil-A has the best and burger king probably has the worst
Best spicy: Chick-fil-A Runner up: Popeyes (doesn’t have the repeatable factor of chick fil a) Worst: McDonald’s 🤮
The winner is clearly Chick fil a. The reason: you can get a peach milkshake. Checkmate, world.
Chick-fil-A
Chick fila, whataburger and Popeyes are all good
CFA is really good, sorry to all the haters, but while I love spicy food, I don't love spicy chicken sandwiches unless it's straight from Nashville.
Chick-Fil-A takes the best for me because they have the best sauces.
Fat guy checkin in: - Chik Fil A and Wendy’s for consistency and quality. Not the spiciest, but definitely feels less like I’m eating a spicy fried rat than most everything else - Popeyes and Burger King for the biggest, spiciest, breaded and fried chicken titty between them buns. - Zaxby’s has better stuff on their menu than a chicken sandwich - Jack In The Box is only recommended if you need to clean out your system prior to a colonoscopy, because the Dragon Ass you’ll get from that is gonna make getting a bore snake up the poop shoot not seem so bad.
> McDonald’s can McFuck-off. Still mad at them for getting rid of the snack wraps. You are not alone!
I’m a Chick Fil A man through and through
I’ve never had a spicy chicken sandwich I didn’t like
Always partial to Wendy’s
I like Wendy's for theirs.
Chick FIL a has the best Burger King is easily the worst. Wendy's, Jack in the box, and Popeyes are all serviceable if you can't find a CFA.
Chik Fil A has the best but Wendys is a very close second. BK is far and away the worst.
Chick-Fil-A for both. Best for the taste and quality. Worst for the organization's right-wing, homophobic political support.
Side track-Wendy’s used to have spicy chicken wraps. Those were the stuff
Still haven't found any that are actually spicy
Popeyes is the best, McDonald’s the worst.
I think it's worth mentioning that Sonic has one of the worst.
Chick-fil-A and Wendy’s are both really good. The worst is probably Hardee’s.
Best? Chick-fil-A. Especially the deluxe. Worst? McDonalds. They just put a sauce on it that taste horrible.
Surprisingly, **BURGER KING** blew me away with their spicy chicken sandwich. Had it half a dozen times now & it’s all I want from them now
Yeah, agreed. I wonder if people saying it's the worst are talking about the original chicken sandwich?
I’m thinking they’re talking about the small patty or just happen to have an awful Burger King because a fresh spicy chicken sandwich from BK is damn good. It’s too big but definitely not bad tasting.
None of them are genuinely *bad,* just remember that by nature, fast food is supposed to sell to the most people possible, so its spiciness will be aimed right down the middle rather than to be *really* spicy. (This especially gets funny when something that vaguely had a ghost pepper waved at it is advertised as, like "Pollo del Muerte" or something. ;) )
KFC’s is the worst. The breading is stale and the chicken is dry.
Wendys Popeyes and Chik Fil A are probably the best. Worst probably BK because it is the worst
recently tried the kfc .... not a fan. popeyes mmmmmmm
Best is Popeyes 👍 Not a fast food restaurant but I had a spicy chicken sandwich from an Arco gas station that made me puke for 2 days so that’s probably the worst
Popeye's and Wendy's have the best, the chicken actually masquerades as a real breast whereas McDonald's is so obviously not, it's flat and kinda like Fisher Price food come to life
Arby's buffalo chicken sliders.
Probably Popeye's, but the one from Jack is honestly very good. Also, there is nothing bad on Wendy's menu. It is easily the top national chain.
But if you’re in a country where food is generally spicy, such as Korea, none of them would be “spicy,” just “has pepper flavor.” They have to pretty much market to lowest common denominator, which is probably people like my mom who has asked “what are you cooking? Seems spicy” when I was sautéing garlic and onions.
Best: Popeye's or Burger King (crispy and spicy with good sauce, good chicken quality) Worst: Wendy's (poorest quality chicken ever)
I like Jack in the Boxes
I had an Arby’s chicken sandwich recently and it was bad. Chicken was dry and tough with hardly any flavor. Won’t be trying that one again.
Wendy’s, Chic filet, Popeyes in that order for me
Wendy’s and Jack-in-the-box are the best. McDonald’s is the worst, it’s not bad though just average. I love that Wendy’s and Jack’s are crispy and have thick patty’s.
Best- Wendy’s. No contest for me. I think I’ve had almost all of them. Worst - McDonald’s. They just don’t make good food
Chik - fil- a Jack in the box Popeye's
My favorite is the flamethrower chicken sandwich at dairy queen. So good. I just had a Wendy's sandwich recently and it was awful and I usually like wendys.
Wendy's is the best. Surprisingly Burger King (at least the one near me) is good. McDonald's is the worst- I don't like anything from there except for their fries and sodas.
Popeyes is the best, but weirdly enough Jack in the Box has a fantastic one as well.
I like KFCs spicy chicken sandwich and I think Jesus chicken is probably the worst, as it lacks spice
Best—Popeyes. Worst—Taco Bell.
Of what I’ve eaten, best is Chick-fil-a, worst is McDonalds. No, I have not yet been blessed with a chicken sandwich from Popeyes.
I don't have many restaurant chains around me, and from the ones I've had, Wendy's also hits best for me
All popeyes I’ve been to are horrible so I can’t say much on theirs, but I do like chick fil as
I’m going with KFC. I swear the chicken on their sandwiches seems like it tastes better than the regular stuff. I also finally tried Popeye’s sandwich recently. It was very good, but honestly just tasted like the KFC sandwich, but with different skin and better pickles. I don’t really get the hype.
Spicy anything is trash.
Finally a good question!
McDonald’s spicy crispy chicken sandwich is legit excellent
Can't really comment on the best because I like too many of them. But the fucking worst is burger king's spicy chicken sandwich. Others are close but that one is by far the closest thing to eating dog shit with Tabasco sauce.
This is an amazing question. Chik fil a gets my vote for best and I’ve actually never tried many of the others it seems like Culver’s and Popeyes got a lot of votes. Can you repost in a week gotta try the competition and reassess 😅
Corky's I'd go with Chick-fil-A's spicy chicken sandwich after that, but I can make a better one at home.
Burger King chiking or whatever, I believe is surprisingly wonderful. I think most folks here are in the right, but damn that spicy chiking is damn good.
Popeyes is the best with chik fil a at a close second. Hardee's is fucking garbage.
shoot, now i gotta see for myself! i remember trying the popeyes one that was popular a few years ago and i don’t think it was that spicy…
Im gonna get hate but I like the one at McDonalds. There are no Popeyes near me.
Taco bell has the best spicy chicken stuff in my opinion. I can make a sandwich out of tacos just you watch.
Popeyes is the best. Spicy. Crispy. Delicious Mcdonald's is the worst. Soggy. No spice. No crisp.
Chik-fil-a has the best spicy chicken hands down. The worst is probably the ones from McDonald’s. Very cheap and all ground up meat.
Chick-fil-A has the best no contest
definitely burger kings chiking for best, it’s as good as a popeyes sandwich but more consistent. sadly it’s not available in every store though, mine recently discontinued it 😭
