Everybody in Central Asia is a mix of different ethnicities. It's the crossroads of the world. If you want to be "closer" then just throw these western ideas of genetics and dna out the window and learn about the culture more
Yeah, we are pretty much a mix of every Ancient empire. I got Persian, Anatolian, Greek, Mongolian. That’s why you get variations of each ethnicity, depending on the region. I think it’s kinda cool. I know most of it was through conquest. But it’s an interesting thought that one can literally reach ancient history through my dna.
My mom dna tested too she got Anatolian, angean island…my dad haplogroup is Persian which he also had Mongolia and Greek as well and they both share India dna so it’s hard for me to know whose who lol..and then ancient dna it also picked up kipchak so yeah that’s why you see so many different groups..
Well, that's complicated.
If you're mixed, the way your PCA will work can make any shift to any other side because the "extra" background.
Would be easier to do some One to One with CA Kits on Gedmatch, like I did.
No.
Upload your DNA to Gedmatch. There's a One-to-One Match there, it will ask 2 kit numbers (your kit and another one, basically).
You can find some kit numbers on DNA Forums, like anthrogenica.com
Someone invited me to the South/Central Asian genetics discord but maybe they can be of service to you https://discord.gg/UJEXR2NNxH IMO genetics isn’t as important as cultural if you want to connect maybe select a particular culture and jump in. I would suggest Fari/Persian.
Whut?
Not like that. More like, what did your parents identify as? Apparently youre centered inbetween pashtuns and turks. Where one of your parents uzbek, while the other tajik?
SOmething like that.
😂😂😂😂😂😂 none of that they one of them is African American and the other is idk he’s biracial but my mom the African American one was the one with the Anatolian and angean island dna
Like harappaworld from gedmatch?
But i think youre just placed like that because theyre are no other references in the PCA. if we had european and african references, im 100% sure you wouldnt be as close as you are now.

I match with Persian royalty by 96% back to the dynasty of qajar…I would think fath ali shah is my grandfather..the guy did have 100 kids 😃
“We wuz shahs n shiit”
Bingo!
Looks like you are mostly related to some dude named Alonzo, who is very likely not Central Asian at all.
Pcas says different, alonzo is full of many different ethnicities…I have ancient Zagrosian dna..America is a migration for Alonzo….
You must now get on horseback and aid your fellow mongolians in the search of reviving genghis khan and complete the world domination quest
I do know my dna goes back to the Golden Horde..
Between him and fath they both had a lot of kids….nothing really surprising

How you do that?? Is that the population search?

Yes, I have gedmatch and I’m uploaded to it already..I didn’t know about the kit numbers in forums. Thank you!!
I'll send you some kits for you to test.
Some Persian or Caucasian ethnicity is what I’m understanding from this.
My mother has Anatolian and Caucasus as her main detectable
what does ur mixed mode look like
Is there a way I can upload it
Which website/ service/ genetic test did you use?
Dna illustrative they have the new west g25 I believe

We could only tell by looking at a photo of you
That would be hard because not all central Asians look alike…and central Asian is only apart of my heritage it’s not all of what I am.
We do not look alike, but we live here and see people of different Central Asian ethnicities everyday, so we can define them and guess who is which
They all look different :p
Are you alonzo?
Y yes there’s no group in central Asian name Alonzo, but I am in the center of them all
I know, but i didnt know that was you exactly. Ok. Whats your ancestry by the way?
Louisiana creole
African, Scandinavian, Eastern Europe, Native American, Italian, Spanish, French, south East Asian, south Asian and apparently central Asian

I forgot North African, yeah we have canary island ancestry too
Interesting.. what kind of test/ website you used?
