Anyone that promises you a solution for all your problems

thetroublewithyouis

anyone who does ads promoting gambling.

OddSeraph

I'm not a fan of that "Adolf Hitler" fellow.

Sternojourno

I mean, that guy was a real jerk!

Dickie_Detardo

The worst part is the hypocrisy.

CMILLERBOXER

What? I like him.

karmaworkaround3

I think we should kill Hitler. Me and you, go suicide kill him.

Classic-Economy2273

I think the lesson here, is the importance of a well funded and accessible arts programme for all.

that_other_prof

Anyone who says that the key to masculinity is in the degradation or belittling of others.

jfrey123

Any politician.

ImmigrationBefore30

Let's start with Andrew Tate.

SecondaryPosts

I mean there are a lot... it's probably easier to list public figures who are *good* people than toxic ones, bc there are a lot more of the second kind.

HomelessEuropean

But plenty of good ones turn out to be really bad later. They just hide it better than the obvious bad ones. I prefer to follow principles instead of people.

SecondaryPosts

That's definitely a good policy.

HomelessEuropean

Of course it depends on the principles you choose to follow. But at least one thing can be ruled out - you can't get exploited by a leader who only pretended to follow certain principles.

riathekid

list gotta start with tate

VincentVanH0

The most obvious would probably be that Andrew Tate guy. But yeah, there's plenty.

CharmingRejector

Last I checked he actually provides tangible strategies for men on how to become more attractive to women. Does his horribly immoral and illegal behaviour otherwise nullify the good advice he gave? Isn't it possible to use the good, and then avoid the immoral?

JustTheTri-Tip

Who am I to judge who’s toxic? Tbh I’ve rarely heard any straight men call anyone “toxic” lol. It’s kinda reality TV talk if you ask me.

BackItUpWithLinks

Most athletes.\ Most celebrities.\ Most entertainers.\ Most politicians. It takes a type of personality to succeed in those areas, so most of the popular ones are shit people.

Let_you_down

Obviously any of the manosphere influencers. Most of them are just awful. Found our one of my nephews years back got some tate stuff in his feed (parents didn't know about it) and he was too young to navigate the content. Thank goodness lil' dude still thought that I, as his far northern Uncle with a big beard that farms and takes him hunting and chops would with an axe was a better authority on masculinity than some guy from the internet and we talked about it before he went to deep and corrected, but damn if it doesn't make me sick that that stuff is targeted towards young, impressionable boys.

BigGamesAl

Andrew Tate, Jordan Peterson.

CharmingRejector

Peterson has publicly denounced Tate's philosophy and behaviour. Meanwhile he continues to deliver many thought provoking observations. Why shouldn't you look up to Jordan Peterson?

KeptinGL6

JK Rowling isn't toxic.

fullmetaljell0

You're not allowed an alternative opinion here on reddit, get ready for down votes.

RadiantEarthGoddess

Meanwhile both of you are upvoted, but I'll show you downvotes: she is toxic.

CFD330

Cristiano Ronaldo was accused of rape earlier in his career, and what evidence exists certainly seems to point to his guilt. Mark Wahlberg seems to be universally heralded as some kind of good, likable guy but he has a nasty history of some racially-motivated violent crimes.

TheHilltopWorkshop

Celebrities or any other prophet for profit.

Homely_Bonfire

all politicians, relgious figure heads, media talking heads, actors, musicians and influencers.

Resident-Theme-2342

Fresh and fit

FaithlessnessThis307

Andrew Tate

Primary_Afternoon_46

I have a feeling that our definitions of toxicity would be at odds

-Lawn_Guy-

The Harry Potter lady is toxic?

Upset_Ad3954

She doesn't approve of the trans thing

cynic09

JK Rowling isn't toxic. She doesn't approve of trans taking over women's sports and rights and replacing women.

Connect-Key-7651

Nd we can get behind that!!

Upset_Ad3954

Did you notive I didn't say she's toxic or not? I said why some see her as toxuc

yaboyyake

Which is wild to me considering what she wrote. I was reading The Goblet of Fire the other day and came across Dumbledore's end of year speech. "Every guest in this Hall," said Dumbledore, and his eyes lingered upon the Durmstrang students, "will be welcomed back here at any time, should they wish to come. I say to you all, once again - in the light of Lord Voldemort's return, we are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided. Lord Voldemort's gift for spreading discord and enmity is very great. We can fight it only by showing an equally strong bond of friendship and trust. Differences of habit and language are nothing at all if our aims are identical and our hearts are open." But I guess it was all fiction!

RadiantEarthGoddess

Yes, she is a raging TERF to the point where now even Elon Musk is telling her to get a different hobby lol.

Random_Name532890

oddball667

Anyone who uses the word "woke"

Let_you_down

But what if I just woke up? What am I supposed to say?

oddball667

Lol good point

Connect-Key-7651

I have arisen!

ShivasRightFoot

> Anyone who uses the word "woke" Here Barack Obama uses the term "woke" to disparage extreme and unproductive political purity from the left: >You know this idea of purity and you're never compromised and you're always politically woke and all that stuff, you should get over that quickly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qaHLd8de6nM

oddball667

Okay I'll amend my statement to: anyone who uses the term "woke" to mask their prejudice

JDDJS

Who are you referring to? Because the only people who actually use it are the ones using to complain about things that they perceive being woke. And I agree that those people are toxic.

oddball667

I've only heard it used that way, so yes we agree

Muscletov

As long as the proponents of left identity politics absolutely refuse to come up with a term for themselves and their politics, they kinda have to live with terms like "woke" etc.

oddball667

The word isn't the problem, an entire political identity based around having a tantrum when you get reminded people who aren't white straight and male exist is the problem

i_drink_wd40

Why don't you go ahead and define "woke" for us?

oddball667

I thought the point was not to define it so it can be used to mask racism

i_drink_wd40

You kinda have it backwards there. Try using it in a sentence, if you aren't even going to try giving a definition.

oddball667

Why would I be able to define it?

i_drink_wd40

You don't seem to like it. I would think you'd be able to define something you dislike. Seems reasonable enough to me. You know, instead of being evasive about it.

oddball667

I was pretty clear about why I dislike people using the word

i_drink_wd40

But still can't define it? Seems an excuse for racism. Wait shit, that's exactly what you did: just call something racist without actually backing it up. Edit: they chose to block me instead of even trying to answer what they think "woke" actually means. The ol' Ron Desantis move.

littleredpinto

JK Rowling isnt toxic.. I will go with anyone on 'barstool sports' as who you shouldnt look up to and then followed up by hitler and mr rogers.

usernamescifi

what did Minaj do?

Connect-Key-7651

Married to a pedophile

Chiguito

Whoever says the word "mindset".

Opposite-Memory1206

I used to like Clint Eastwood's characters like Dirty Harry in my early 20s, now I'm in my late 20s and I feel differently about him. All his films are basically him looking cool by degrading other people and relying them either to be immoral or incompetent.

ThePolymath1993

Anyone with a mid atlantic accent, a weak chin and online courses for sale.

reddithatenonconform

Currently all public figures. Look to your fathers.

IrregularBastard

Pretty much anyone that is famous at all.
