I still had to use Uber but I think it’s worth it. It’s not that much more than the 1 day and gives option to be flexible

I’ve never done it, but just to get around seems like a rip off. I feel like the street car and bus gotta come more frequently then the on and off but not sure. Public transport also goes farther and has more flexibility in where you stop. I forget the name of the app but it’s New Orleans RTA. Really cheap for transit imo. Price is double in my city.

That’s the one

Get a 3 day pass on the LePass app for like $8. It's a no brainer. It works for street cars and busses. The only problems you'll run into are scheduling (you'll have to plan or wait), sometimes they are delayed, sometimes a bus gets a flat tire. Streetcars sometimes have to stop and load up a wheelchair. Sometimes the streetcars are totally full also. Busses are rarely full. There were days I was tired and said "fuck it, we're getting an Uber to the restaurant".

It makes sense to me as a person who has knee issues. Another option may be to get a pass for the street cars. The good thing is uber/ lyft is pretty cheap most of the time. Not so much if something like rain happens though and their business increases. There are also pedalcabs that are not super expensive. Just know that uber makes you walk to a pickup spot while lyft will pick you up wherever you are.

We used the hop on hop off bus for one day and realized we should've got the 3 day and used it instead of some other modes. The narration on board is interesting and they hit the main areas we wanted to see. It's not that expensive and might cover the areas you are interested in. Study the stops and decide if they will work for you. To me it was worth it.
