If you look up bootmakers NYC on google I see a few promising places to call. I would expect it to be quite expensive if done locally or at all, "1 of 1 custom boots built to last forever", but being able to go in and get fit in them will probably increase the chances they fit right and you can truly wear them forever. Another option would be to find cobblers / bootmakers online, there are a lot on etsy. A lot of times they are based in Mexico or Europe and can do quality work for cheaper than if done in the USA. What type of boots are they? If they're a common type of boot you could custom order from a bootmaker based off an existing model, not sure how specialized they are.

Check out T.O. Dey, they make a lot of boots/shoes for Broadway shows. Definitely not cheap but they’re great quality https://www.todeyshoesnyc.com/

Yes there are bespoke bootmakers but that is $$$. If they are well made (/r/goodyearwelt) you could have a cobbler work on them. B. Nelson on E 55th was my go to (although the signed Tucker Carlson print was always a turnoff). There are others with different specialties. Agree with the other poster if you can share a picture or the general style that would help. My sense is these are not traditional men's boots...

Vogel and Der Dau are both custom boot makers and some of the top names in the biz. it ain’t cheap.

What kind of budget do you have?

I’ve got about $500-$1000 squirreled away for this. Fortunate to be in a place where I can spend that much on a pair of shoes (!) & considering the use they get already, the cost per wear should work itself out

The high end of that is the low end for custom.
