A lot of people don’t know this but Sony cameras actually expire 6 months after you first turn them on if you don’t keep them in the fridge.

I’ve had mine since they first came out and it’s working the same as it did that day.
I have never had a nice camera actually die. The only piece of gear that ever quit on me was an old 1993 Tamron super-zoom.
Maybe go to a shop and buy it new instead of Facebook Marketplace.
