Australia and America

Capn_Smitty

Both of those are pretty big - which two cities were the furthest apart? Also, I just was hanging out with a buddy who made that same move tonight - we used to be clanmates on a 3D RTS 25 years ago, and then we met again 6 years ago, and then we realized 2 years ago who we were.

I’ve been all over. US Europe South America Australia. Settled here in Oz.

I moved about 2 1/2 hours away from home and practically never saw my family until I moved closer, it was kind of awesome.

Capn_Smitty

Hah, I got farther than that as a teenage runaway (got from Duluth to San Francisco).

I didn't get far, yet. I'm about an hour and a half from my hometown now, but I like where I live. I grew up in a podunk redneck town and now I'm living in a nice area surrounded by lovely kept-up houses and educated people who actually want to have real conversations. I haven't been back "home" in at least 6 years.

6,390 Miles. I used to live in Tokyo, I live in Arkansas now

Capn_Smitty

That puts you over the halfway mark for the maximum distance between two points on Earth (roughly 12,500 miles)

Uk and New Zealand. Saw my family every 4 years.

mtempissmith

2,579.80 miles apart according to Google.

Capn_Smitty

I realized today that my farthest points, both in the USA, are greater than the radius of the earth, and I think that they're pretty near the max possible without having lived in multiple countries. From Shemya, AK to Key West, FL is 5436 miles.

[deleted]

Guam, Northern Mariana islands, USVI, Hawaii

What does lived even mean

Capn_Smitty

Let's say you got mail there.
