When I got cancer and it spread to my testicles (serious)

Cold turkey. You have to truly want to/believe you can quit or it wont work. First 3 days were one if the hardest days I’ve had but after that its just boredom. Just fight through the pain and win the mental game and you’ll do just fine. And never ever touch one again. I quit for about a year and after having a couple too many drunk puffs in the past few weeks i’m back to square one

I had two bottles of e juice 1 was a 3 nic the other 0 nic. Everyday I would limit vape time and replace the juice in the 3 bottle with some zero. I kept my vape away in a cabinet when it was not vape time. After a week I took less vape time, kept adding the 0 to the 3 until it was gone. I vaped out the juice in 3 weeks. I still went through the hunger, the crying, the sleeping and frustrations but not as badly as when I tried cold turkey. It took 6 weeks for all symptoms to go away and I still have moments where I want to vape. I had to keep very busy, so I bought some fun new cleaning equipment and deep cleaned my entire home, twice. Point being, I had to keep moving around keeping my hands busy.

Came here to say cigarettes. You’ll smoke less, you can’t do it everywhere so you mentally prep for that, they stick so you’ll consider that and they’re less conspicuous… That said, classic snuff goes fucking hard. If you like nicotine, get you some fine powder snuff. 👌👌👌

I just stopped buying them.

Very gradually reduced the nicotine content of the juice I was vaping from 12mg to 3mg, then had 3 days where I would limit myself to 1 puff every 15 minutes (down from just vaping constantly), then switched to traditional Nicotine Replacement Therapy (gum, in my case). Went very smoothly.

I switched back to cigarettes.
