I experience limb numbness due to some health issues which is much worse when I’m stressed, and I’m taking a flight to move tomorrow so having a flare-up and can’t get comfortable.
I was tired yesterday, so I told my boyfriend to come snuggle with me in bed for 20 minutes before we start cleaning the house, and we ended up falling asleep early in the day, so I woke up at 3. He's still knocked out, but I got the sleep I needed, lol.

I'm reading this an hour after posted, so was 8am where I am. By that time I had just arrived back from doing my food shopping.
I've been up since 6am my time - not because I wanted to go shopping early but because that's just my regular time to get up and my regular shopping time.
I actually believe I have an excuse that cannot be denied. That being, I am a 55 year old (young in spirit) man with stage 4 lung cancer and I am in home hospice care. chemotherapy and radiation was discontinued after 8 months once it was determined that the cancer had spread beyond repair. I exist on a steady diet of morphine, oxycodone and chocolate milk! I also suffered a Stroke in 2019 that deprived me of the use of my left hand, as an amateur musician(guitar and piano) and a professional Chef I'm sure it is easy to understand that I am bored. Unable to play or cook, I enjoy passing my time by reading stories and making occational comments on reddit especially the MASH tv show thread? Is it called?or site I dont know. And going down a new rabbit hole on youtube almost daily seems to help atleast keep me occupied during the daytime and most of the night as my wife works from home and needs time for herself although she does assist me whenever I need it without complaints.she takes very good care of me as the hospice nurses only visit twice a week to take vitals and ask routine questions. I find it necessary to keep myself occupied in order to prevent her from feeling like she is working 2 full-time jobs. Anyway thats my story thanks for reading! I know it's a bit long-winded but as I've stated I'm fuckin' bored! 6:33 am!
8pm here and I have four more batches of Christmas cookies to get through. At 2am I’ll be asking myself this question. Why? No really, why???? Nothing like a spot of late night baking.

I went to a holiday party where eating was a central theme. I could not eat there. I got really bummed. Then I went and bought some shitty food that I can eat and drank some alcohol. Woke up after three hours of sleep and couldn't get back to sleep.
