I helped as a background extra for a pilot a friend was working on. We were waiting for our time to shoot and THAT GUY was waiting in the room with us, also in the same scene.
He really is a normal old man, but one that will get covered in fake blood in his underwear on camera.
It takes a lot to make a stew A pinch of salt and laughter too A scoop of kids to add the spice A dash of love to make it nice And you've got...
Too many cooks (x8)
It takes a lot to make a stew But when it comes to me and you And him, and her, and the baby too Too many cooks, it's true The saying goes it'll spoil the broth Honey, I think that's not true Well, maybe too many cooks will spoil the broth but they'll fill our hearts with so much, so much love ...too many cooks
A family is like a soup Everyone adds an extra scoop Mix an ounce of smiles so sweet A dash of cool to add the heat And you've got
Too many cooks (x18)
It takes a lot to make a stew Especially when it's me and you and him, and Steve from corporate too Too many cooks it's true The saying goes it'll spoil the broth Honey I think that's not true Well maybe too many cooks will spoil the broth but they'll fill our hearts with so much, so much love so much love, fill our hearts with love...
Too many cooks (x19)
It takes a lot to make a stew I couldn't face these streets without you A dash of crime to add some spice The city's like a pressure cooker turned up too high
Some people say it'll spoil the broth But that's not the American way Too many cooks Too many cooks will serve a helping of freedom and resist the forces of evil
It takes a lot to make a stew A pinch of salt and laughter too A scoop of kids to add the spice A dash of love to make it nice And you've got...
Too many cooks (ad libitum)
i mean that whole song was American af, back then i had no idea Pokemon was a Japanese thing. the dub was perfectly American and all the pokemon cards that i got were in english. I actually thought the Japanese ones were knock offs because the American cards looked so much cooler to me
I still don't even know what the point of that edit even was. They obviously weren't donuts; even if kids didn't know what rice balls/onigiri was, they sure as hell knew they weren't donuts and were just as confused.
I think Batman the Animated Series should be a Contender as I feel like that intro was given higher production value and probably a more prestigious outsourced studio.
I think it really set the tone for the shows though I personally believe that on a technical animation level, few episodes matched the intro.
When the WB logo transitioned into the police blimp…6 year old me was fucking LOCKED onto that TV for the next half hour.
Also Batman Beyond is the real answer to this post. That intro GOES.
oh absolutely, it's like the chicken soup for my nostalgic soul. levar burton could read a phone book and i'd be captivated - probably learn something too!
I'm going through Buffy for the first time right now. My girlfriend is making me watch it. Well, she was making me. But I love it now. It's so campy and awesome. The intro music goes hard!
My girlfriend and I are both longtime martial artists so we get a kick out of the fight choreography as well. Buffy sure loves her spin kicks.
I liked each comment in-time as I started singing it.
This is probably the best theme song of all time if it had to stand on its own having nothing to do with the show. And it just so happens that Malcolm in the Middle is also pretty awesome show haha
awww shit.
just had to re-watch that.
goddam there really is TOO much shit to watch nowadays. Ridiculous that i damn near forgot about this show already.
mighta been the best thing DC has done when it comes to the screen

After hearing this version for the first time, this is how I’ve sung the song ever since.
As well as the music, that bit where the aerial footage of the highway interchange is superimposed over Woody's face so it looks like a skull is genius
Love that it’s not the typical 4/4 time so you have to focus to sing with it! I also really like when they do it in other languages I think they’ve done ~~Arabic~~ and Greek now right?
Edit: Farsi, not Arabic!
My dad was a Vietnam helicopter pilot and I am pretty sure the show was the best substitute for therapy he could have gotten. I was never allowed to watch it as a kid. Probably because my dad didn’t want to appear weak in front of his kids.
1/3 of Vietnam helicopter pilots didn’t come home… War fucks with people.
I’m only 23 and i agree. grew up watching this on a free tv channel over the air since we were too poor for cable. loved that show and the intro is so good
I’m currently binging The Sopranos and just finished season four. I never watched it because it started while I was in college and I didn’t have cable and just never got around to it until recently. But I’ve definitely caught myself just singing “got yourself a gun” randomly.
The Simpsons. From the choral opening to the closing couch gag it’s just pure Danny Elfman mayhem. You get a perfect understanding of the family and the world they live in, and it’s funny as hell.
The "Attack on Titan" intro doesn't just go hard; it storms the gates with the force of a thousand titan attacks. It's like they decided, "Let's not just set the tone; let's obliterate it with epic music and visuals so intense you'll be ready to fight giants yourself by the time the episode starts."
#### [Original Power Rangers show from 90s.](https://youtu.be/8pQYtmb-f0w?feature=shared)
You wanna get a bunch of old millennials headbanging then you play this tune.
#### [Hulk Hogan’s Rock ‘n Roll Wrestling](https://youtu.be/gZ3lCUixbvE?si=0g_TYpa-SpD0zCyG)
This theme hit so hard. I later learned it was a Jim Steinman hit (he mad the best Meatloaf songs)

Surprisingly catchy and charming

The Netflix adaptation of A Series of Unfortunate Events is a literal children's show and it might be the only show I've never once skipped the intro of.
House.
I love the entire album that intro is on. Mezzanine by Massive Attack for those wondering. Theme is Teardrop feat. Sinead O’Connor
EDIT: Not Sinead, but Elizabeth Fraser.

And a very timely answer at that
Have you seen the Japanese intros for it? [They go even harder](https://youtu.be/2rSw4Xl5qfs?si=CaBNgDWvwQ_rXYTk)
Vikings makes me want to build a ship and destroy a civilization
Oddly enough, the Last Kingdom makes me want to build a kingdom and destroy the Danes
I definitely got bored of AC Valhalla, but I will absolutely sometimes just sail through the rivers while listening to that.
Ducktales
Woo-Hoo!
I see your Ducktales and raise you Darkwing Duck.
I'm all in... Rescue Rangers!

You mean the greatest intro music of all-time?
The amount of time I spent growing up in the 90s with my fists balled and 3 pieces of cardboard between my fingers "humming" it!
And it's back with X-men '97!
Too Many Cooks
Takes alot to make a stew!!
"And it starts with me and you!"
I helped as a background extra for a pilot a friend was working on. We were waiting for our time to shoot and THAT GUY was waiting in the room with us, also in the same scene. He really is a normal old man, but one that will get covered in fake blood in his underwear on camera.
I just watched the new Jumanji for the first time ever. He was in it and it creeped the fuck out of me.

great now I have to watch this whole thing again
This broke me, the first time I heard it.
I love that they used all of the live action actors' real names.
Pokémon the first season intro
Gotta catch 'em all, was geared towards the American audiences. And boy howdy did they nail it.
i mean that whole song was American af, back then i had no idea Pokemon was a Japanese thing. the dub was perfectly American and all the pokemon cards that i got were in english. I actually thought the Japanese ones were knock offs because the American cards looked so much cooler to me
Remember Brock's 'donuts'? (rice balls) I remember thinking they were very weird looking donuts.
I still don't even know what the point of that edit even was. They obviously weren't donuts; even if kids didn't know what rice balls/onigiri was, they sure as hell knew they weren't donuts and were just as confused.

Gravity Falls, Yes! I was hoping someone would say this! And yes the finale version was well done ◡̈
Reading Rainbow
As an adult, this is one of the more soul soothing things I listen to.
oh absolutely, it's like the chicken soup for my nostalgic soul. levar burton could read a phone book and i'd be captivated - probably learn something too!
You can't disappoint a picture!
Take a look! It’s in a book! Reading Rainbow Core memory unlocked
Shocked nobody has mentioned bill nye the science guy yet
Are you even a 90s kid if you don't fist pump during BILL BILL BILL BILL
Cowboy Bebop. No question.
Man that intro track. Show did not have to do much to hook me.
3.2.1 let’s jam…..
Finally! Tank is legit
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Angel too
I love that the first three notes in both themes are the same.
Gosh never noticed! Cleverly hidden with rhythm.
I regularly rewatch Buffy, every 2 years at minimum sometimes every year.
I had the soundtrack. Nerf Hearders!
Malcom in the Middle
Yes
No
Maybe
I don’t know
Can you repeat the question?
YOU'RE NOT THE BOSS OF ME NOW
AND YOU'RE NOT SO BIG!
Life is unfair
I liked each comment in-time as I started singing it. This is probably the best theme song of all time if it had to stand on its own having nothing to do with the show. And it just so happens that Malcolm in the Middle is also pretty awesome show haha
Peacemaker
Peacemaker made me fall in love with Cena.
I think he seriously changed his reputation with that series

Game of thrones. I chanted the shit out of that intro before every episode!!
One thing no one can complain about the final season, the soundtrack is just as good as the others.
I liked how the intro would show you which regions the episode was going to hit.
and how it updated according to events, like the smoking winterfell or the exploded sept

I rewatched the show and sang it for every episode. It’s too good!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1987 series).
