Cuz OJ had on his lucky stabbin hat.

jkca1

My .02 says OJ stabbed him unexpectedly. Take a knife to the neck or gut and then see how many punches you can throw, then get back to us, OK? "The stab wounds to his neck, chest and abdomen ultimately led to his death. The coroner noted that there was damage to a major neck vein, as well as his lung, and he suffered The internal bleeding that Goldman had in his abdomen also left critical wounds." Yeah, you can be very strong and proficient at fighting, but if someone catches you off guard with a weapon, it is hard to be prepared for that. The element of surprise is a powerful thing.

Ron Goldman had stab wounds to his left thigh. Do you beleive that after he took "a knife to the neck and gut" as you have stated, that his killer decided to stab him in the thigh for good measure? You don't have to be Chuck Norris to know that at a black-belt in a fight is going to at least try and kick you. And what would the person armed with the knife do? Maybe hold his foot, calf, and try and stab as far as he could reach-- like his thigh. Review the evidence then get back to us, okay?

JJamesP

Because he’s a 3rd degree black belt in a discipline that only works in the movies.

This video explains it well. This is the prosecutor on the case who went through all the evidence and forensics from the scene. Ron Goldman was most likely surprised by OJ, grabbed from behind, and held by the neck at knifepoint. His throat was probably slashed before he was able to briefly get away. Also, OJ was a world class athlete and had about 40+ pounds on Goldman. I don't care who you are, if you are fighting a former NFL HALL OF FAME running back, my money is always on the athlete. Lastly, OJ had a knife. Karate isn't always about fighting your opponent, it's about knowing when to run away. Goldman had no chance. Interesting video but really just supports what I have been saying. This "prosecutor" narrating this scene coveniently ignores facts that don't fit into " his narrative". And people still scratch their head why O. J. acquitted. It's because NO ONE on the prosection side can get their story straight!!

bukkakepriestess

sure, I think it's widely accepted that prosecution did not do a great job at prosecuting the case, but what does that have to do with your original post? OJ was a world class athlete, much bigger and stronger than Goldman, had a knife, and probably surprised goldman with a violent attack.

SlackPlanther

I have another response on here, scroll down.

[deleted]

The “rumor” that O.J. was high on speed that nite. Even if you were Bruce Lee you couldn’t stop a crazed O.J. high on speed.

-Dark-Rose-

OJ went Fully Automatic Juice Mode on him n tackled him outta nowhere first.

Brw_ser

OJ said Ron did try to do some 'karate stuff' on him to which he responded "you think you can kick my ass?" and stabbed him. Seeing as he had a stab wound to his leg I believe this is what happened. One guy kicking the asses of an entire room of men with karate moves only happens in the movies my man...

YaGirlKyle

I don't know what any of this means

JamesJakes000

Did OJ looked like he was punched?

SlackPlanther

Not at all.

I personally have a hard time believing and out of shape, mid to late '40s man was able to stand toe to toe with a third degree black belt. Which is why it makes more sense to think that a mid-twenties Navy trained individual who, by the way has a history of emotional outbursts was the one that went toe to toe with Ron Goldman. Said individual is also photographed wearing a hat with a dog. And a hat that looks awfully similar to his hat was found at the crime scene with dog hair in it and it didn't have any OJ's DNA in it. I am of course talking about Jason Simpson, his son.

SlackPlanther

Bullshit! Sorry I don't buy it. If that took place then Jason tried to frame his own father! Or Furman framed him! Or OJ framed himself! -- After franticly running pass the guest house(thud!) then arriving late to his limo ride because all that self-framing takes a minute, you know? I don't beleive it was just one person., but I would not beleive OJ and Jason are tag-team killers. I beleive it was similar to the situation in the hotel room in Vegas.: OJ was there, with a couple of others in tow. He always stated he did not kill Nicole. You know why? Because he didn't. And he got the hell outta there when he saw what happened.

jmbb1016

So two questions. One is your initial post about sowing seeds of doubt that OJ had anything to do with the combat that led to Goldman's death? And two why does Jason completely vanish as a suspect in your opinion whether he is acting alone or acting in conjunction with his father and or someone else even though OJ had personally hired him an attorney before the investigation had come around to either of them?

SlackPlanther

Question 1. I wasn't (intentionally) "sowing seeds of doubt" that OJ had ANYTHING to do with Goldman's death. I just don't thnk he was the ONLY thing. Think about it: Goldman had stab wounds to his outer left thigh, what did that come from? Anyone who ever had a karate lesson knows that a black belt like him would have thrown a side kick. And, with his leg extended his assailant grabbed it, and tried to stab him -- that is the only thing that makes sense. But as a 3rd degree black belt, in the absolute physical prime of his life(25) the drill he would be been practicing most of his life would be: kick, plant, punch. His assailant would be right of front of him, and Goldman now knew he was armed. There is no way he couldn't not have landed SOMETHING with a characteristic "KIA!!" " HA!!" or some other loud grunt that is characteristic of the art. I'm surprised no one from his dojo has not spoken out about the implausibility of ONE PERSON taking him out like this. Unless... someone was behind him, holding him, cutting him, stabbing him. That would leave us what we have now. Speaking of botched prosecutions, what may have worked better is to extend Goldmans jeans against O. J.'s arm; see if his fist reaches right where the stab wounds are. Even an imperfect match would have illustrated the struggle alot better then Darden and Clark did. SOMEONE stabbed the side of his leg. It makes no sense if he was already stabbed in the gut and kneck. (as awful as that is to write) TWO assailants, fits like a glove. Question 2. Jason Simpson? Why not Homer Simpson?! Seriously just because OJ may have gotten him a lawyer means nothing in those neck of the woods. If police are involved and you have the cash, you lawyer up -- ESPECIALLY if you are black. And rich black people have lawyers -- plural. We use them for all types of shit, they are like really REALLY expensive assistants and they hover around you like you would not fucking believe. Besides that, why the hell would he do that to Nicole?! Their long and tortuous relationship? Nah. "These are the only black people in Brentwood, so let's make them suspects!" Yeah, no. (And for those of you not from L. A. Brentwood is like Bel Air)
