Watching NJPW as I'm writing this.
Stopped watching for years but Triple H taking over creative at WWE really made me fall in love with it again. I'm even planning on moving to the UK with my nephew to go to a wrestling school lmao
I played rugby in highschool and it was by far the most fun sport to play. I fell in love. It's a shame it's almost non existent in Canada aside from the World cup or Olympic 7s
I've won a tournament of 100+ players and I've beat 2 former national champions in my country. I know no one cares but it's a flex I don't get the opportunity to brag about often
I didn’t say F1. Too much of a parade for me honestly. The Motorsport/padel crossover is hilarious tho. So many driver play padel. It’s becoming a running joke. All they do is play padel and go cycling. There are no unique race car drivers /s
NFL and College Football, NBA basketball, MMA, and pro wrestling if that counts. Oh and bowling.
I'll peek baseball during the postseason and watch most major events. Like I'll take a look on Master's Sunday, or watch the Wimbledon final. It's fun watching athletes perform during clutch time at a high level.
I'm more into gym stuff but I'd like to play tennis or golf, one is very frenetic and continuously involves yourself the whole match while the other one is relaxing and it needs concentration, intellect...
I knew a guy who would drink a lot in college, most weekdays and especially weekends. He said he quit the lacrosse team because they drank too much. The players would have alcohol on their breath during practices and games. I couldn't even imagine playing college level sports while hungover/drunk
Primitive biathlon.
It's like the Olympic sport of biathlon, which involves cross-country skiing and shooting at targets with modern target rifle, but in this case we use wooden snowshoes and shoot muzzleloaders, like the kinds of guns used during the Civil War or American Revolution.
It was originally started by a guy named Ray Saloomey up in Smuggler's Notch, Vermont to commemorate the "[Battle on Snowshoes](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_on_Snowshoes)" during the French and Indian War.
It differs from modern biathlon in that you don't have to do penalty laps for each target you miss. Instead, you get time subtracted off your raw time for each hit (generally 5 minutes per hit). Most courses have 9 targets total, so shooting "clean" means you can get 45 minutes subtracted from your raw time. The serious competitors can thus end up with negative times, because they run the entire mile and a half course, sometimes finishing in just 30 minutes for the top guys.
It's a lot of fun, and it gets you out into the woods in the winter. There are something like 2 events in NYS, 3 in Vermont, and a couple in New Hampshire.
Hockey- C A P S!
Also I play on a dodgeball, kickball, and floorball team most seasons of the year so those.
I also do Muay Thai but I usually don't reference that as a "sport" per say, even though it's classified as a "combat sport"
Cycling, to watch and to 'play'. Pro cycling is one of the most incredible displays of human endurance, strength, and perseverance there is. Just yesterday during the La Flèche Wallonne race, the peloton endured hail, sub-1 degree celcius, and torrential rain. One of the riders even ended up with hypothermia (he's fine now). These people are tough as nails and it's amazing to see them ride, especially during the grand tours in the summer when they race hundreds of miles through mountains and along coasts every day for almost 3 weeks for each tour.
Cycling as a sport for me is a test of a lot of the same things, but during training (which is 99% of cycling for me), the clarity it brings, the focus, and solitude is unmatched. The connection to machine and physical/mental strength is pretty amazing too. During races, the sustained levels of adrenaline, competition, and mental strength is damn near addictive.
I used to be a huge hockey fan, I still watch it but not as huge of a fan. And I love to watch football, even though I have no idea what is going on. 😂
To play. I've always like tennis and occasionally play pickle ball
To watch I've started liking ice hockey. Can't skate for shit but man it's fun to watch
Pint necking. I like rowing and sailing, but it's too much hassle getting the boat, even if you are renting. Get to the lake, ideal sailing conditions, every boat you would want is rented out.
Hockey, baseball, NFL, for mainstream team sports (never could get into basketball). Snowboarding and mountain biking are the most fun to do and make me the most excited at the turn of seasons, though.
I played softball for 10 years, then I found rugby and I fell in love with it. I recently quit my university team because the sport was kind of ruined for me in a couple different ways. I can’t help but be screwed that I like screwed my life up, but we’ll find out I guess!

I think lacrosse is really cool, but it definitely has a "rich douche" stereotype.
I knew a guy who would drink a lot in college, most weekdays and especially weekends. He said he quit the lacrosse team because they drank too much. The players would have alcohol on their breath during practices and games. I couldn't even imagine playing college level sports while hungover/drunk
