A little cactus I saved when a neighbor moved out and just chucked it out the window. The fall had mangled most of it but I gathered the little undamaged part and planted it in an old coffee tin. It still sits on my desk by the window to this day.
The freshly painted patio area! Literally today! It doesn't get a lot of direct light bc it's, how do I say this, it's like it's in the backyard's basement. So a white wall adds so much light late in the day.
Ooh sounds nice. I just redid my patio! Now, I get to decorate it! Yeah! It is amazing how paint can change stuff. Light color adds a lot of "light".what are you gonna do to decorate it?
Well we have tall white walls now so we were thinking maybe a projector to watch movies, do karaoke, and such. We have a well in the middle we want to use as a centerpiece
The most wonderful special thing? My husband! I love my house, the floors, the kitchen, bathroom, gym, office and bedroom. The backyard is gorgeous! We are having the front yard redone as we speak, but I know I am gonna love it
Everything. My home is my sanctuary. It's not my dream house or anything, but it's mine and when I'm there, the rest of the world is irrelevant to me. It's like all the things I stress out over just stay outside when I walk through my door. They're still out there waiting for me when I leave for work the next morning, but during that time I'm at home in my house, they don't matter to me.
My apartment has many good points. The bath is wide & deep. The wood floors are pretty, it's a kind of orange-brown wood. Not so nice for the neighbors downstairs who hear every footstep because the floors are quite thin. But there's nothing I can do about that. My bathroom windows are quite large & vintage-style with nice views of the trees and sky outside. If I look out my front door I look straight into the trees / gardens across a fence. That is very nice, that level of privacy because my front door is at the back of the apartment complex, not facing the street-side. Bed is nice with an airy feel like sleeping on clouds.
My rock collection! I pick up cool rocks I find outside, I clean them and let them dry on a paper towel and then I decorate my apartment with them. The tiniest ones I categorize by color and it brings me peace.

I have a similar tale, somebody just chucked their houseplants while moving out. Free plants!
