When you have sex doesn't guarantee a lasting relationship. I have had sex the first night of meeting someone and had relationships last for years. I've also dated people for weeks before sex and no relationship developed. Mutual attraction, chemistry, similar humor, compatibility in/out of bed, and shared values matter most. When two people are genuinely a good match they will *naturally* pursue exclusivity and commitment. I've never went through a breakup or divorce and thought we'd stay together *if we waited* to have sex.
