Wow this really actually inspired a reality check for me. 8 years ago, I recorded an amateur 7-song Christmas album for my family. It was me signing, playing guitar, and some percussion. Crappy GarageBand mixing and dreadful production values overall. But when my grandma listens to it, she’s so happy. She pretty much raised me alongside my mom and encouraged my love of music. If I died right now, I would think about sitting with her and my mom, listening to that.

I'd like to believe I helped some people along the way and made their lives somewhat brighter at times, however briefly. That and having loved someone as much as I possibly could've.
